  1. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Brilliant defending from Tom Parkes as the Livingston man gets the slightest of touches to steer the ball away from Daizen Maeda.

The Celtic winger was charging in to meet a flashing cross from Greg Taylor.

  2. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

Luis Palma clips a free-kick on target and Jack Hamilton nervously bats the ball back into traffic.

The Livingston goalkeeper is then relieved to see the follow-up effort from Paulo Bernado blocked by Tom Parkes.

  3. goal

GOAL! Kilmarnock 2-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Marley Watkins

Killie are flying at Rugby Park.

Watkins wins a one-two with Danny Armstrong, with the former Dons striker getting there before Liam Gordon and toe-poking underneath Mitov. This is far, far too easy for Killie.

  4. goal

GOAL! Partick Thistle 1-1 Inverness CTpublished at 15:18 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Jack McMillan

A close-range leveller for the hosts at Firhill.

  5. Young Denholm impressing for Heartspublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

Aidan Denholm smashes a bouncing ball over the bar from the edge of the box.

The 20-year-old has been good so far for Hearts.

  6. Postpublished at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

St Mirren have been poor but have sprung to life.

Jonah Ayunga works space for a shot, but it deflects off Craig Halkett and into the arms of keeper Zander Clark.

  7. 'Kyogo looking lively'published at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

Kyogo has seen more of the ball in the first 10 minutes of this match than he did, arguably, in the entirety of his last two domestically against Hearts and Kilmarnock.

His sharpness isn't there yet but if Livingston can't get hold of the ball, it seems simply a matter of time until Celtic score, with the Japanese striker looking the most likely.

He's had six touches so far, which is quite a lot at this stage by his standards.

  8. 'Celtic much improved'published at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Pat Bonner
Former Celtic goalkeeper on BBC Sportsound

This is much better from Celtic, in contrast to previous weeks.

    Better intensity.

  9. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstone

    David Watson should have another.

Corrie Ndaba gets past young Fran Franczak and crosses to Watson, but his head is like a 20p and the ball ends up near the corner flag.

He was unmarked and should have done better.

  10. CLOSE!published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Off the line!

It looks like Kyogo is going to open the scoring but his shot rattles off the knee of James Penrice, standing in front of Livingston goalkeeper Jack Hamilton.

  11. Gogic on thin icepublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

Alex Gogic trips Barrie McKay this time.

The St Mirren defender needs to be careful here, he's already been shown a yellow!

  12. Super-quick Caley!published at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Partick Thistle 0-1 Inverness CT

    Kenny Crawford
    BBC Sport Scotland at Firhill

Nineteen seconds on the clock when Max Anderson’s deflected shot trickles into the bottom-left corner after good work down the right by Billy McKay.

  13. goal

GOAL! Kilmarnock 1-0 St Johnstonepublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    David Watson

    That's a beauty!

David Watson takes one touch to set himself and, with the ball bouncing up kindly, he half-volleys a stunner past the keeper.

Dimitar Mitov gets a touch but it clips the post and goes in.

    This boy has something special.

    Kilmarnock goal
  14. Postpublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    How on earth?

A corner from Luis Palma drops for a sliding Matt O'Riley, but the Celtic midfielder can only scoop the ball straight up in the air from inside the six yard box.

Would've been good defending if he was in a Livi shirt.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

Alex Cochrane fizzes a Hearts free-kick just past the post in the first minute.

Alex Gogic gave it away for pulling back Aidan Denholm on the edge of the box.

The Cypriot was eventually booked after referee Nick Walsh seemed to have mistakenly shown the card to Richard Taylor.

    Strange one.

  16. 'Green Brigade bring the noise'published at 15:06 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Celtic 0-0 Livingston

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

The Green Brigade are back, bouncing up and down, bringing noise and colour to Celtic Park.

Elsewhere in the ground however, with just two days until Christmas, there are big pockets of empty seats.

Thousands of fans are either at the shops or have stayed at home to voice their dissatisfaction with two league defeats on the bounce.

  17. Saints start bright in Ayrshirepublished at 15:05 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Kilmarnock 0-0 St Johnstone

St Johnstone have made the better start here, with Kilmarnock a little too rough in their challenges.

There's an early chance for the Saints to cross from a free-kick, but it's cleared at the edge of the box.

  18. goal

GOAL! Partick Thistle 0-1 Inverness CTpublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Max Anderson

Very, very early goal for Big Dunc's boys at Firhill.

    After just 19 seconds. Nineteen!

  19. Big opportunity for both sides in Gorgiepublished at 15:02 Greenwich Mean Time 23 December 2023

    Hearts 0-0 St Mirren

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Tynecastle

With the games involving Hibernian, Aberdeen and Dundee now postponed, both Hearts and St Mirren will see this as an opportunity to extend the gap to those clubs just behind them in the table.

For Hearts they will be on a major high after the win at Celtic seven days ago and with Craig Halkett back in at the centre of defence they will feel they can keep the visitors at bay.

Buddies boss Stephen Robinson says they will have to be on their toes to keep out Lawrence Shankland as the Scotland striker looks to add to his 13-goal tally for the season.
