I'll be interesting to see the Sterling/Gomez battle now down Chelsea's left! They certainly have history...

Chelsea having that move and scoring although offside would given them some confidence. Liverpool hanging in there.

Really good play from Chelsea, from Sterling, from Gallagher, from Palmer. Sterling didn't disappoint with that ball, good ball back from Gallagher and Palmer just couldn't quite get there to put it away.

Great defending by Andy Robertson as he gets back quickly to prod Conor Gallagher's cutback towards his goalkeeper.

The momentum has swung Chelsea's way since the injury adjustment. You feel Jurgen Klopp will be happy to get to half-time at 0-0 and take stock.

Encouragement for Chelsea at last even though that goal was ruled out. They have settled down a little after something of a false start. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp still very unhappy about how Ryan Gravenberch sustained that injury and it is easy to see why. It was not great from Moises Caicedo.
