Liverpool players are queuing up inside the box to get shots off before Chelsea finally scramble clear after Conor Bradley's attempt is blocked.

Approaching half-time and it is pretty incredible that this game is 0-0.

Liverpool, boosted by that Cody Gakpo chance, seem to be regaining the momentum now as they attack. Luis Diaz plays a square ball into the box but his team-mates in there can't make it count.

Really good play from Chelsea, from Sterling, from Gallagher, from Palmer. Sterling didn't disappoint with that ball, good ball back from Gallagher and Palmer just couldn't quite get there to put it away.

Great defending by Andy Robertson as he gets back quickly to prod Conor Gallagher's cutback towards his goalkeeper.

The momentum has swung Chelsea's way since the injury adjustment. You feel Jurgen Klopp will be happy to get to half-time at 0-0 and take stock.

Encouragement for Chelsea at last even though that goal was ruled out. They have settled down a little after something of a false start. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp still very unhappy about how Ryan Gravenberch sustained that injury and it is easy to see why. It was not great from Moises Caicedo.

Liverpool try to regain control of the game as Conor Bradley nods the ball down inside the box, but it is just behind Harvey Elliott.
