Both sides clearly think the three points are there for the taking as Marcus Tavernier fizzes an effort just wide for Bournemouth before Bruno Guimaraes' persistence almost leads to the visitors conceding an own goal.

A cross from the Spurs left is cleared by the away defence to Pedro Neto, who drops a gear and races upfield with the pace of an Olympic sprinter.
He checks his run in the home box and pulls back to Joao Gomes, who thumps in a first-time shot.

Aaron Ramsey is carefully lifted on to a waiting stretcher and can hear the sound of sympathetic applause as he is taken off the field.
The Clarets midfielder is replaced by Jay Rodriguez.
