Manchester United are moving it around but with no real strong efforts or clinical bits in front of goal.

Fulham you have to say have been really good in this first half.

    Hope for Forest!

Another goal conceded from a corner by Villa, as Morgan Gibbs-White's set piece is headed back across goal and Moussa Niakhate chests in, unmarked from close range.

Niakhate has been ripped apart in defence for Forest today, but at the other end he has given them a lifeline.

@bookofaegis: Villa absolutely running riot over Forest, and they ain't even out of 1st gear

@soccerljjung: Now I’m no expert but Forest might want to look at their left back, given all the goals have come from his side

    Goalless at the Amex.

Brighton have had the bulk of chances, but have lacked a deadly touch.

Everton have offered little, but will be pleased to be level.

  5. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:49 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Burnley

The whistle goes for half time.

Burnley have not managed a shot on goal of any sort so far and that statistic is hardly likely to improve now they are down to 10 men.

They look set up now to try and get the point, but they really need wins in their situation.

  6. HALF-TIMEpublished at 15:48 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February

    Man Utd 0-0 Fulham

Not much for the home fans to shout about, but lots for the travelling support to be enthused by.

You can't help have a nagging feeling Fulham will regret not taking any of the hatful of chances they've had, though.

The fella on the tannoy tells the Old Trafford crowd there will be two more minutes of the first half.

And the home side have a chance to come away with something before the break after a cynical trip by Harry Wilson, which earns him a booking.

Bruno Fernandes swings the ball in but Calvin Bassey takes control of the situation with a firm header clear.

A great first half for Villa, and a great first half for those who picked Douglas Luiz in their fantasy football team - including our football editor, who picked the Brazilian on the advice of this live texter.

    You're welcome, Andy.

Booking for Forest defender Felipe, who has endured a torrid first half.

    Much to ponder for Nuno.

Re Tom @ 15:16 - can only assume you don't watch much of Everton, dismissing DCL as a Championship player. Of course his scoring form hasn't been great. But he's a huge reason why we're a midtable team this year bar the points deduction. Few forwards in the league are as good at hold up play as he is.

Heading into stoppage time and Manchester United have just realised they need to crank up the speed of their play.

A sustained period of possession in the Fulham third ends when Alejandro Garnacho's cross takes a deflection and the organised visitors win back the ball.

Still no save for Pickford, as Danny Welbeck gets his free kick all wrong.

Tyrick Mitchell's shot on the turn is dived upon by James Trafford at his near post. Again the flag then goes up for offside, but Trafford did what he needed to do just in case.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Brighton continue to dominate possession and territory against Everton, but I cannot recall a real save Jordan Pickford has had to make.

Will he need to make one here? Free kick Brighton on the edge of the box as Pascal Gross is fouled by James Garner.

Another superb save from Andre Onana.

Manchester United are exceptionally fortunate not to be behind.

Fulham have had more purpose and been more effective in their attacking play.

If Sir Jim Ratcliffe had any doubts about how far his club are away from the levels they need to be, this game is a stark reminder.

Whatever Andre Onana can do, Bernd Leno can too.

A carbon copy of the earlier Fulham chance as Alejandro Garnacho cuts inside and looks for the far corner.

End to end, breathless stuff at Old Trafford.

United have this habit of being completely outplayed and coming away with a scrappy win this season. It looks like it will be the same again today

We might as well just keep hitting copy and paste - another Fulham chance. They should really be ahead.

This time it is Andreas Pereira. He bends a right-footed shot from the edge of the box towards the corner and Andre Onana goes into full Superman mode to fly through the air to push wide.

    Game over?

Forest can't clear the corner, Matty Cash sends it back out to John McGinn whose cross is absolutely perfect and begging to be headed home.

Douglas Luiz obliges from seven yards, powering a header past Matz Sels and surely securing three points for Villa.
