Crystal Palace keep knocking on that door as Adam Wharton plays a really good ball to the far post where Odsonne Edouard is lurking but the forward's header is denied by James Trafford at point-blank range.

Important blocks at either end ensure we stay goalless.

Antonee Robinson is well placed to clear Alejandro Garnacho shot before Harry Maguire clunkily shows us why he is a centre back not a centre forward.

Fulham regain the ball and break quickly again, winning a corner which Rodrigo Muniz meets with another free header but Casemiro is well placed to hack out.

Just one goal across the four games in the first 30 minutes. Not a classic Saturday so far.

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Simon Adingra has a shot deflected wide, and the Brighton corner deluge continues.

This one ends up in the gloves of Jordan Pickford. Brighton need to press this advantage.

Re Tom @ 15.16 - The way this season is going, Calvert-Lewin might be playing in the Championship next season anyway... with Everton.

  6. YELLOW CARDpublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

    Man Utd 0-0 Fulham

Ref Michael Oliver is required to take centre stage for the first time after being alerted to a misdemeanour from Tosin Adarabioyo.

The Mancunian defender, who came through the City ranks, gets a fistful of Alejandro Garnacho's shirt as the United forward tries to race onto a long ball - and a yellow card.

United have a free-kick in the Fulham half. Could there be further punishment?

  7. CLOSE!published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Everton had a brief foray forward, resulting in a corner. But for the time being, we are back to Brighton dominance.

Simon Adingra tries a left footed shot from an angle, which flies narrowly over Jordan Pickford's bar.

It was a wonderful ball just away from that front block. A good right-hand save from Andre Onana. Sasa Lukic couldn't get the follow-up, it was slightly behind him.

    Another opportunity wasted from Fulham.

    Crystal Palace 0-0 Burnley

James Trafford makes a really good save to deny Joachim Andersen's close-range effort. The whistle then goes for offside, but Trafford didn't know that.

I think I would have almost anyone else up front except Rashford. He just doesn't affect the game when he is playing as a striker. I can already see him wondering out wide to receive the ball. United already looking slightly disjointed with no shape.

  12. Midfield gapspublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

    Man Utd 0-0 Fulham

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Old Trafford

Manchester United have not quite got their midfield positioning sorted out.

They have played some flowing passing moves going forward but when they lose the ball there are too many gaps, which provides Fulham with the space to counter very quickly.

Erik ten Hag will want the spaces to be closed much quicker. Marco Silva will be quite happy if they remain as they are.

  13. Postpublished at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

Oh my word. Fulham could well rue not being able to stick the ball in.

From the resulting corner, Rodrigo Muniz meets the ball with a firm header which requires Andre Onana to claw away to safety.

Take the pressure of Calvert Lewin by playing Beto for a few games. He can't do any worse. After two or three games rest bring, him back hopefully a little hungrier.

    Ste, Merseyside

Calvert-Lewin is perfectly good as a penalty box striker. No striker would score goals in Everton's set-up, running channels and being expected to get on his own flick-ons.

    Aston Villa 1-0 Forest

Not good for Villa, as Ollie Watkins goes down under a clumsy challenge from Murillo. The England striker is holding his back and looks in pain.

Murillo has already been booked. He's a lucky boy.

Manchester United have a corner which is punched clear by Bernd Leno and then Fulham race out of the traps to counter.

Sasa Lukic, playing in midfield with Joao Palhinha suspended, leads the attack and sees a shot deflected out for a corner after exchanging passes with Alex Iwobi.

One of these must stick for Fulham.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

    Aston Villa 1-0 Forest

Leon Bailey continues to torture Forest, beating his man down the right before his shot to the near post is blocked by the feet of keeper Matz Sels.

The Belgian keeper then makes a solid claim from the corner.

  18. CLOSE!published at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

    Brighton 0-0 Everton

Danny Welbeck is again so nearly in!

He plays a one-two with Facundo Buonanotte and seems certain to finish, only to be denied by a last-ditch Ben Godfrey challenge.

  19. Postpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 24 February 2024

Another chance for Fulham. And another chance for Alex Iwobi.

Another rapid counter sees the home defence peeled open like a banana, with the Nigeria international left steaming through the middle.

But Iwobi drags a low shot past the same left-hand post which he hit his previous effort a few moments ago.

Fulham have to take those sort of chances.

Brighton continue to probe, winning their fifth corner in the opening 20 minutes through the lively Simon Adingra.

Everton have offered nothing going forward, but continue to defend well.
