That was Lucas Pacqueta again on John Stones. It's a bit clumsy, he has more lives than a cat!

None of them are bad fouls, they are just repetitive.

Anthony Gordon didn't get enough power or pace on the ball to trouble the keeper.

Anthony Gordon has been one of England's best players tonight. Declan Rice picks him out from a free-kick into the box but Bento denies the Newcastle wideman.

Dan: Jude Bellingham needs to learn the dark arts of how to get opposition players booked/sent off. It’s sad it’s needed, but when you’re that good you have to play the game.

Strongly agree. Gallagher is not up to the task & Chilwell looks completely out of his depth.

Hope Mainoo comes on for Gallagher!

Lot of the usual doom and gloom - England were missing 11 players before this game and lost a twelfth after ten minutes, yet they've had the majority of the territory. Yes it's frustrating how little use they're making of it but in a tournament game half this side wouldn't be playing - and half the Brazilian defence would be off!

England's defending against high-class attackers has always carried a question mark and nothing that has happened so far changes that.

Harry Maguire, now wearing the captain's armband, has looked uncomfortable and made the sort of error that might carry heavy punishment at Euro 2024.

He was lucky Raphinha allowed him to escape.

Everyone saying England are playing badly. How are they meant to play well when one player is allowed to commit so many cynical fouls with impunity? Every break there is a Paqueta foul. Hardly conducive to flowing football.

It's quite clear we are missing a presence on the right. Foden is a great player but is no good on the right Saka is missed. And I'm not sure why Gallagher is even on the pitch all he does is lose the ball and tackle poorly.

England's Jude Bellingham reactsImage source, Reuters

The number of times Jude Bellingham is being fouled cynically really disrupts his game. He is going to have to deal with that at the Euros.

Bellingham needs to control it [his temper] and he needs to understand he will be targeted.

It is then about how players around him exploit that and come to life.

If England want to win anything they have to find a way to get more time for Bellingham on the ball. If he’s taken out of the game, like so far tonight, I don’t see us winning the Euros.

Fairly even first half. On possession it was 51-49% and shots (eight) and shots on target (two) were both level.

It has been an interesting tactical battle.

Brazil will go in happy and England need to apply some more pressure.

Jude Bellingham is having a conversation with the referee as he walks off the pitch.

When England have the ball we need to see some more commitment and running.

The number of fouls is ridiculous. I know it's a friendly but one of the England players are going to get injured. Show some yellow cards!
