  1. 'Airdrie seeking Raith scalp'published at 14:46 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Airdrieonians v Raith Rovers (15:00)

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland at Excelsior Stadium

The Airdrie boss Rhys McCabe has had a terrific start to his managerial career.

Should he lead the Lanarkshire side to back-to-back promotions, there will undoubtedly be suitors chapping his door.

And his stock would be increased yet again should they pick up another win against a Raith Rovers side who are unbeaten since defeat here back in September.

Rovers have been terrific to watch and in only one game have they failed to score. That was that game back in September here against Airdrie. No Kevin Dabrowski in goals today as he is suffering from a hip injury with Andrew McNeil replacing.

  2. Big Dunc in the standspublished at 14:39 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Ayr United v Inverness (15:00)

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland at Somerset Park

Both teams make three changes from last time out for this one as both look to bounce back from defeats.

Ayr see Charlie Albinson come back in goal, Sean McGinty and Paul Smith are also in as Robbie Mutch, Nick McAllister and Jack Senga drop out.

Inverness see the return of their captain, Billy McKay, Danny Devine and David Carson also come in.

The visitors will also have to contend with their manager Duncan Ferguson being in the stands today, after his red card at full time in Airdrie last Tuesday.

  3. Thistle seek run as Arbroath look to risepublished at 14:35 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

    Partick Thistle v Arbroath

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Scotland at Firhill Stadium

Partick Thistle are in a comfortable play-off position as things stand, but if they're to push those above, they need an extended winning run.

They face a vastly depleted Arbroath who give a debut to Gordon Walker. Results have lifted under Jim McIntyre, bar the 3-0 loss to Dundee United, but they do find themselves joint-bottom going into this one.

A low winter sun and hardened areas of the pitch may make conditions tricky for both.

  5. 'Important game for both'published at 14:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 January

Dundee United v Greenock Morton (15:00)

    Willie Miller
Former Aberdeen defender on BBC Sportsound

United have huge expectations. Perhaps at this stage of the season, we should be thinking they'd be well clear.

It's an important game for Morton as well. A victory here would continue their good form.
