    Bristol City 1-0 West Ham

David Moyes looks both cold and fed up. He's probably not going to give the current West Ham XI too long to prove they can be better than the first half before making changes.

Bristol City need to expect a reaction from West Ham.

I'm expecting a much improved performance from this West Ham team in the second half.

    Paul McCallum

    Out of nowhere...

Bedlam at the Silverlake Stadium as Paul McCallum volleys past Nick Townsend after a ball over the top.

McCallum is a goal machine. He's already got 22 in the National League this season.

His latest has Eastleigh dreaming of facing Manchester United.

I'm sure David Moyes was happy to get them in at half-time and have a word with one or two of them.

Come on Eastleigh. You have 45 mins to get yourself a tie with Manchester United. Every effort is needed to get the tie turned around and won.

    Eastleigh 0-1 Newport

    A H-U-G-E 45 minutes for Eastleigh.

They've started the second half on the front foot after winning a free-kick out wide about 30 yards out.

    Poor set-piece!

    Wolves 1-2 Brentford

    Simon Stone
    BBC Sport at Molineux

I am not getting into the debate about VAR here but in the media seats, we are fortunate to have access to TV screens.

But there are no replays on the feed this evening so when the game was stopped to check the offside, we didn't have a clue what was being checked, which is the occurrence every matchday for the fans, who have evidently paid to be here.

It is not really good enough they are not allowed to see what has happened.

The game's lawmakers IFAB don't want real time replays but it surely has to happen.

Can I play you every week?

Neal Maupay also scored Brentford's goal against Wolves in the original tie.

He has four goals this season - two against Wolves.

    HT: Bolton 1-1 Luton

    Emma Smith
BBC Sport at Toughsheet Community Stadium

As someone who has not watched Bolton at all this season until tonight, I have been hugely impressed by the speed and confidence of their play - summed up by that Victor Adeboyejo effort from the halfway line which drew gasps from around the ground.

Ian Evatt's side try to play from the back, keep the ball on the ground and counter attack quickly. Luton are being kept right on their toes and have plenty of work to do after the break.

  11. goal

GOAL - Wolves 1-2 Brentfordpublished at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January

    Neal Maupay

Neal Maupay pounces but it is initially given offside on the pitch.

The Bees are made to wait while VAR checks it before the celebrations can really begin.

    It's given. Brentford lead.

Former Wolves defender - and Brentford goalscorer - Nathan Collins offers a wave to the home fans who boo him as he goes to take a throw.

I don't think he demanded to leave. Wolves sold him.

  14. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:37 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January

    Bolton 1-1 Luton

Dion Charles' 17th goal of the season put the League One side ahead, only for Tahith Chong to equalise four minutes later.

A hugely enjoyable 45 minutes, with Bolton's Victor Adeboyejo so close to scoring a wonder goal from 45 yards.

Liam Manning will have wanted his team on the front foot and maybe get an early goal.

    That's exactly what they've done.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:36 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January

    Birmingham 0-1 Hull

Hull, with 11 changes, go in at the break with the lead thanks to a goal from Jason Lokilo.

Birmingham have had more shots on target, but the visitors lead.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January

    Bolton 1-1 Luton

Almost the goal of the night from Victor Adeboyejo. The Bolton striker sees Tim Krul off his line and goes for it from near the halfway line. Krul is panicking and backtracking and manages to get his hands up in time to push the ball against the crossbar and just about avoid humiliation.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 16 January

    Bristol City 1-0 West Ham

Ross McCrorie then sends a header from the next corner straight at Lukasz Fabianski and that signals the end of the first half.

So far so good for Bristol City.

Seconds to go until half time but Bristol City have a corner, from which Anis Mehmeti's low drive is pushed behind.

    Late pressure from the hosts.
