Liverpool have had periods where they looked really good. Bradley’s been brilliant but it’s only just been enough so far. Norwich will feel a little bit boosted by the end of that half seeing Liverpool not really going at the top level. They will be thinking we’re still in this tie and if they can keep it tight until the last 15 minutes we have a chance here and that may well be the manager’s plan.

You wonder when Russell Martin will start to ring the changes if his Saints side are to get something from this game.

The game has kind of slowed down. It's quite quiet. I thought when Liverpool got the second goal they would press the accelerator and make lots of chances to get the third one. But it’s not really happened.

Sam McCallum does his best Dave Challinor impression and hurls a long throw into the Liverpool box.

Grant Hanley gets on the end of that but his header is comfortably held by Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson.

Watford are looking most likely to score the next goal and potentially kill off the game.

There have been chances for Norwich but once again the wrong decision was made when they broke. They are not going to get too many chances at Anfield so the decision-making has to be better.

Norwich can't quite get anything going really. I can only really recall them getting forward with any real purpose on a couple of occasions so far.

Yaser Asprilla gets the better of Mason Holgate on two occasions.

Jack Stephens puts in a brilliant block to stop the first cross and the second is cleared for a corner.

Giorgi Chakvetadze takes and Southampton clear.

Southampton have a free-kick on the edge of the area.

Carlos Alcaraz takes and hits it over the bar.

Virgil van Dijk is out to warm up. Not quite sure he'll be needed if Liverpool continue to dominate in this manner.

Cody Gakpo is the latest home player to have a pop at goal but scuffs his effort wide from the edge of the Norwich box.
