Everton needed that.

They needed a catalyst to get the crowd up and behind them. You can see and feel that the momentum has swung completely in their favour now.

It is going to take a big effort for Luton to battle back into this one.

It's a wonderful save from Virginia.

McNeil might have been on the line as well but Virginia had to be safe there and get a big right hand to it.

Everton don't seem like they have changed anything in terms of system at half time.

Beto and Dominic Calvert-Lewin have caused havoc up front at times for them but Everton have struggled to get enough clean passes through to them. They'll be hoping to improve that in this second half.

Wilfried Gnonto races towards goal but Brendan Galloway's important interception stops him in his tracks.

Keshi Anderson has had no shortage of opportunities so far today, but he continues to waste them. His latest flies well over. It's proving to be one of those afternoons for Birmingham City's forwards.
