    Celtic 1-0 Ross County

Celtic flew out of the blocks in the first half and they almost double their lead at the start of the second.

County goalkeeper George Wickens has to get down sharply to turn Liel Abada cross away from danger.

    Livingston 0-1 Dundee

Daniel MacKay again goes for goal.

Shaky defending from Dundee skipper Joe Shaughnessy allows Bruce Anderson to slip in MacKay, whose fierce strike whizzes past the post of goalkeeper Harry Sharp.

Great start from the trailing side.

A very quick chance falls to Livingston's Daniel MacKay on the edge of the area after the restart, but the winger blasts over.

    HT: St Johnstone 1-1 Motherwell

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

    A decent game in Perth.

Controversy, really competitive and some really good football too.

Motherwell deserve huge credit for not letting their heads go down after Saints broke the deadlock.

And, had it not been for a stunning Dimitar Mitov save, they may well have been going into the break with the lead.

  7. Rodgers will expect morepublished at 16:03 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    HT: Celtic 1-0 Ross County

    Jane Lewis
    BBC Scotland at Celtic Park

After Celtic's early goal, I think most inside Celtic Park were expecting an onslaught from the home side, but the spark didn't really appear until the tail end of the first half.

Brendan Rodgers will be asking for more in the second half. Ross County will be fairly content with the score-line given the start. They'll need to ensure they make more of the opportunities from corners. They've certainly had plenty of those?

  8. Robinson 'can't ask for any more' from St Mirren playerspublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    FT: St Mirren 0-1 Rangers

St Mirren manager Stephen Robinson tells BBC Scotland: “Overriding emotion is frustration. I can’t ask much more in terms of application. We showed good quality when we won the ball, we didn’t panic.

“Ultimately a super goal beat us. But there’s a sense of frustration. We still had the belief to keep going. I don’t take pleasure from losing games but I take positives from the performance.”

Robinson adds St Mirren currently “haven’t got any more resources” to add to their squad in the final week of the transfer window.

  9. Win 'most important thing' for Clementpublished at 16:01 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

    FT: St Mirren 0-1 Rangers

Rangers manager Philippe Clement tells BBC Scotland he is "very satisfied" despite the win over St Mirren being so narrow.

, it’s really hard to win games like this. It’s a pity for football and for the fans to play in circumstances like this on a pitch like that.

“The team adapted. We’re only busy with one thing, that’s winning games and showing we can do it in that way. The most important thing is the three points.

“With a team that can only play in one way or certain circumstances, they will never win trophies. You need resilience, mentality, desire, hunger, focus.

On narrowing the gap on Celtic: “I’m only busy with my team and winning games. If you look at others you forget yourself.”

Clement adds Dessers’ upturn in form is down to his “hard work” and “confidence”.

    HT: Celtic 1-0 Ross County

Both teams are wearing black armbands at Celtic Park today, in memory of former Celtic defender Stuart Gray, who died today, aged 50.

Gray, the son of Eddie and nephew of Frank, both Scotland internationals, came through the Celtic academy and made 32 first-team appearances for the club after making his debut in 1993.

  14. Not making penalties paypublished at 15:57 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Tom English reveals on BBC Radio Sportsound that, with three penalties already missed in the Premiership this afternoon - two of them from Celtic's Luis Palma - only 60% of spot kicks have been scored in the top flight this season.

  15. HALF-TIME Celtic 1-0 Ross Countypublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Alistair Johnston's heavily deflected strike after 56 seconds gives Celtic the lead at the break.

There could have been plenty more goals though. Luis Palma twice had penalties saved by County goalkeeper George Wickens and Will Nightingale hit the bar from a Yan Dhanda corner.

County have been much improved from their dismal showing against Partick Thistle last weekend but will need to find an extra gear if they are to take anything away from Glasgow.

  16. HALF-TIME St Johnstone 1-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:55 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

All level at McDiarmid Park, but Motherwell have looked the brighter side despite going a goal down after just three minutes.

The Steelmen failed to deal with a corner properly, allowing Ryan McGowan reacted quickest to stab past a floundering Liam Kelly.

Theo Bair levelled just before the half hour mark, getting on the end of a deep Blair Spittal cross from the left flank to power home past Dimitar Mitov.

  17. HALF-TIME Kilmarnock 1-0 Hibernianpublished at 15:53 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Neither manager will be too happy with their side's performance after a first half with plenty of chances but very little quality in front of goal.

Hibs have had the better of it, but the goal has energised Kilmarnock. It came through Dylan Vente's head, as he planted a header past his own goalkeeper. Since then, it's been the hosts who've had the better chances.

  18. HALF-TIME - Heart of Midlothian 0-0 Aberdeenpublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Nothing between these sides at the break. It's been closely fought, but Aberdeen have had the better chances.

The Dons also had the ball in the net - a wonderful strike by Bojan Miovski - but it was ruled out after VAR spotted a trip by the striker on Beni Baningime.

    All to play for.

  19. HALF-TIME Livingston 0-1 Dundeepublished at 15:52 Greenwich Mean Time 27 January

Amadou Bakayoko's drilled strike has the visitors ahead at the break.

Andrew Shinnie had the chance to equalise from the spot after Luke McCowan pushed over Jason Holt in the box, but the skipper's lacklustre effort was pushed away by Harry Sharp.

Livingston fans getting restless at the Tony Macaroni Arena as that long, long wait for a league win appears to be carrying on for a little while longer.
