We've got our rewards for playing two up front.

I'm so pleased for the fans to have seen those two goals fly in. The rain has been flying in on them, as well.

    Port Vale 0-1 Leyton Orient

It's been a fairly dispiriting night for Port Vale, who sacked manager Andy Crosby yesterday.

They've failed to threaten Orient in this second half, who are moving towards a sixth win in their last eight games.

Not long to see out now for the Os, who started the night 10 points outside the top six.

  6. goal

GOAL: Exeter 2-1 Peterboroughpublished at 21:26 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Jadel Katongo og (80 mins)

Oh, wow - another own goal! And now Exeter lead.

It's a searching ball in from the right by Reece Cole into a very dangerous area in behind the defence.

All manner of legs could get to it but it's Posh full-back Jadel Katongo who pokes into his own net!

Can Peterborough rescue the game now with 10 men?

    What a turnaround.

  7. 'Cole goal a job well done'published at 21:24 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 1-1 Peterborough

    Graham Kirk
    BBC Radio Devon reporter

How did that go in? There were some afters as well, players going to the linesman. It bounced on the line.

Looking at the big-screen replay, I think it was Reece Cole's goal. He did really well to get it up and over the wall. We were saying he looked the most likely to score.

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

With Port Vale behind, Reading are heading out of the bottom four as things stand.

They've won away from home in League One only once this season, but they're on course for a second success on the road.

Stevenage are having their moments but have been unable to find a way past David Button thus far.

  9. goal

GOAL: Exeter 1-1 Peterboroughpublished at 21:21 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Nicholas Bilokapic og (75 mins)

    Exeter are level!

A free kick on the right edge of the penalty area is curled towards the near post by Reece Cole.

It comes back off the post and off Posh goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic before bouncing along the goal line and in.

    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Fleetwood

With scorelines as they are, Fleetwood would be back within six points of safety in League One.

The Cod Army are onto their third manager of the season and after a slow start in terms of results under former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam, things appear to be turning for the better.

This is Fleetwood's 10th consecutive season in the third tier. Carry on like this and they might be looking forward to an 11th.

  11. Postpublished at 21:19 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

Even with 10 men, Posh are looking the more likely for a second goal in this game.

They break, David Ajiboye is teed up for a shot but Vincent Harper gets back with a superb block for Exeter.

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

    Steve Watkins
    BBC Three Counties Radio

Jake Forster-Caskey's shirt is almost see-through as he takes a throw.

As has so often been the case this evening, Reading head the danger away. Stevenage are heading for dropped points here this evening, by the look of things.

  13. Ripley 'furious' as Vale fall behindpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Port Vale 0-1 Leyton Orient

    Phil Bowers
    Journalist, BBC Radio Stoke

Orient captain Idris El Mizouni, who's been outstanding tonight, breaks the Vale offside trap and places the ball past Connor Ripley.

The goalkeeper is furious. It's the same old story. Vale will be in the bottom four if things stay the way they are.

  14. 'Orient goal had been coming'published at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Port Vale 0-1 Leyton Orient

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

Jason Lowe and Tom Sang are all over the place on the right hand side. Defensively, Tom's just a liability.

Ripley was furious. He was having a word with the linesman. I'm not sure what his point was. You have to say, that goal had been coming for the last 10 minutes.

Orient should be three up and all of their chances have come from the side those two players are on. You can't not track runners and expect to win the game.

They're at sixes and sevens, they don't see runners - and they've been punished for it.

Orient are opening Vale up. There's no traffic for the runners, and that's going to cause you problems.

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

A big opportunity goes begging for Reading to double their lead.

Sam Smith rounds the goalkeeper and plans to slide the ball into an empty net, but Stevenage's Dan Sweeney is back in double-quick time to clear Smith's shot away to safety.

About 20 minutes left to play at Lamex Stadium.

  16. goal

GOAL: Port Vale 0-1 Leyton Orientpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Idris El Mizouni (60 mins)

But Connor Ripley can't keep this one out and Orient are finally ahead after much pressure.

Idris El Mizouni is picked out with a superb through ball from Tom James from the left and he guides his finish into the bottom-right corner.

  17. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Port Vale 0-0 Leyton Orient

Ruel Sotiriou rifles a right-footed shot for Orient from eight yards out but it's fingertipped onto the bar by Connor Ripley in the Vale goal.

The slight touch made all the difference as the ball cannons off the underside of the bar and bounces back into play before it's cleared.

City, with the spare man, are going to go one-on-one, aren't they?

Tom Carroll just drove into the box and there was a shout for a penalty - mainly from the fans, it must be said.

The referee is having a word with Peterborough's goalkeeper, telling him that he's keeping an eye on his watch.

City have got to believe. I wouldn't be surprised to see Joel Randall sacrificed now.

    National League latest

Meanwhile, in the fifth tier, National League leaders Chesterfield have conceded an equaliser at Dagenham.

A draw would mean their lead at the top of the table would be a measly 20 points.

Even if they don't win tonight, with only 15 games left to play, I still think they'd be favourites for the title.

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

    Mick Gooding
Ex-Reading player/manager on BBC Radio Berkshire

Stevenage have had a little bit more of the ball in the last couple of minutes.

I don't want to jinx things but they haven't really threatened in this half.
