    Bristol Rovers 0-2 Fleetwood

That's three goals in three games for Jayden Stockley. If you're going to get out of trouble, you need your strikers to find some form, and both Stockley and Ronan Coughlan have found the net in the driving rain this evening.

  2. RED CARD - Michael Olakigbe (Peterborough)published at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

Michael Olakigbe could have put Posh two ahead but moments later he goes diving into a challenge inside the Exeter half.

It's a clear foul, Olakigbe has already been booked, and the Brentford loanee is off.

  3. goal

GOAL: Bristol Rovers 0-2 Fleetwoodpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Jayden Stockley (52 mins)

A corner from the left is headed home at the near post from six yards by an unmarked Jayden Stockley and Fleetwood lead 2-0!

    Is the great escape on?

  4. Peterborough pushingpublished at 20:58 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

    Vic Morgan
    BBC Radio Devon

Viljami Sinisalo made a good save from Michael Olakigbe after Exeter gave the ball away.

If it had become 2-0 at that stage, you suspect Peterborough would not have given up the lead.

Strange because Exeter started the half brightly.

  5. CLOSE!published at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

Just after the break it could be 2-0 Posh.

Archie Collins finds Michael Olakigbe in the area, who takes a touch and shoots but Viljami Sinisalo makes the save for Exeter from close range.

  6. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Bristol Rovers 0-1 Fleetwood

If Bristol Rovers are to find a way back into this game and score an equaliser, you would put good money on Chris Martin being involved in some form.

The veteran striker has scored 11 times in League One this season, including seven in his previous six league appearances for the Gas.

  7. Postpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

Reading's most recent away victory was on 25 November, by the way. It was a 2-1 success at Wycombe.

Tonight would be a good time to end that long wait for a win on the road.

  8. Postpublished at 20:49 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

    Tim Dellor
    BBC Berkshire sport editor

We're getting a bit ahead of ourselves but it's been a long time since Reading won away.

You have to go all the way back to April 2021 for the last time they did it in midweek.

Come on, Reading: do yourselves a favour and get a result here which would make the season more bearable.

Only three goals so far in our four ongoing League One games this evening, but they could have a big impact at both ends of the table.

The second halves are starting to get under way.

    FA Cup fourth-round replays latest

    BBC One

There are also three FA Cup fourth-round replays taking place this evening and all three ties are level at half-time.

The only goals have come at Coventry, who are locked at 1-1 with Sheffield Wednesday. Sixth-tier Maidstone United await the winners.

Southampton v Watford and Plymouth v Leeds - a game you can watch live on BBC One - are both goalless.

  11. 'Vale will be happy'published at 20:46 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

HT: Port Vale 0-0 Leyton Orient

    Adam Yates
Former Vale defender on BBC Radio Stoke

Connor Ripley's made some good saves but Port Vale will be happy with this scoreline. A lot of people thought they'd get rolled over tonight.

I'm not surprised that Mark Kennedy, the former Lincoln manager, is here watching. There'll be a lot of interest in the job.

  12. 'A ridiculous goal'published at 20:43 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    HT: Stevenage 0-1 Reading

    Steve Watkins
    BBC Three Counties Radio

The throw came in, nobody dealt with it, it skimmed off the surface and went in off a post.

Stevenage are behind here at the Lamex. It's got a nick off someone but it didn't really change the direction of the ball.

    It's a ridiculous goal.

The game started to burst into life before the end of the half - not through quality, I'd say, but more through a little bit more urgency from both sides.

  13. 'Not good news for Exeter'published at 20:40 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    HT: Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

    Vic Morgan
    BBC Radio Devon

The news from Stevenage is good news for Reading fans but not so good for Exeter fans.

If they win, it really will close the gap - it's two points, as it stands.

City trail at the break following a lazy challenge inside the box which led to Harrison Burrows' penalty.

Water being swept off football pitch at CambridgeImage source, Rex Features
    • Harrison Burrows' penalty has given Peterborough a half-time lead at Exeter. Posh will go second if they win in Devon.
    • Struggling Fleetwood are on course for a second successive victory in League One. Ronan Coughlan's goal has Charlie Adam's side 1-0 up at Bristol Rovers.
    • Managerless Port Vale are goalless with Leyton Orient and that won't be enough to keep Vale out of the bottom four as things stands, because fourth-bottom Reading are leading 1-0 at Stevenage.
    • Two games - Burton v Cheltenham and Walsall v Morecambe - were postponed because of waterlogged pitches and Cambridge v Bolton lasted under 10 minutes before that one was abandoned. Persistent rain left the surface unplayable.
  15. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Bristol Rovers 0-1 Fleetwood

Fleetwood lead at the break thanks to Ronan Coughlan's second goal in two games, although visiting goalkeeper Jay Lynch has played his part in making sure the Cod Army lead at half-time.

  16. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:35 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

Posh the better side and Harrison Burrows' penalty has them in front.

The visitors could go second tonight.

  17. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:34 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Port Vale 0-0 Leyton Orient

Orient much the better side but no way through at Vale Park against their managerless hosts.

The visitors aiming to keep their run towards the play-offs going.

  18. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Stevenage 0-1 Reading

And that Reading goal is pretty much the final action of the first half.

  19. CLOSE!published at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

    Exeter 0-1 Peterborough

Exeter have scored only eight goals this season at home.

And missing chances like this is perhaps why.

Jack Aitchison seizes on a mistake in the Posh backline and has only the goalkeeper to beat.

But he tries to squeeze it under Nicholas Bilokapic, who makes a good save for the visitors.

  20. goal

GOAL: Stevenage 0-1 Readingpublished at 20:31 Greenwich Mean Time 6 February

Vadaine Oliver own goal (45 mins)

Against the run of play, Reading take the lead just before half-time.

A long throw from the Royals' left touchline is flicked on and nestles into the corner of the net.

It's gone down as a Vadaine Oliver own goal, but Reading fans won't care who got the final touch.
