    That man again!

Leeds have a 100% league record so far this season and they've hit the front early tonight.

Georginio Rutter does well to win the ball back 25 yards out after Swansea half-clear a Whites corner.

He passes the ball to in-form Crysencio Summerville and when your luck's in, it's in.

The Dutchman's curled effort takes a big deflection to deceive Carl Rushworth in the home goal and go in at the near post.

That's 16 for the season for Summerville now.

    Norwich 0-0 Watford

Watford get on the ball for the first time and push up the pitch.

Mileta Rajovic's shot from distance is blocked before the ball is worked up to Ismael Kone, but the hosts get it away.

Norwich then break up the other end before winning a corner.

The ball falls to Kenny McLean and the shot is blocked.

  3. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 1-0 Hull Citypublished at 19:53 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

    Christ Tiehi (4 mins)

    Hope springs eternal?

Rock bottom Rotherham started the day 12 points adrift of safety and winless since Boxing Day.

They lead in the opening stages against Hull City thanks to a fairly hefty bit of luck.

Christ Tiehi's shot takes a huge deflection to fly into the Tigers net.

    Abdul Fatawu (4 mins)

    Dear me.

If you're second from bottom in the league and playing away at the league leaders the last thing you want to do in the opening five minutes is give them a goal... That's EXACTLY what Sheffield Wednesday have just done.

The Owls try and play it out from the back but get in right old muddle and Leicester pinch it in the area and the ball's squared for Abdul Fatawu to score from close in.

  5. Postpublished at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

    Birmingham 0-0 Blackburn

A reminder that Birmingham boss Tony Mowbray is not on the touchline to face his former side Blackburn this evening.

He's picked up three yellow cards this season and is serving a one-game touchline ban.

Meanwhile, Mowbray's made SEVEN changes to his side for tonight's fixture.

  6. Postpublished at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

Early chance for hosts as captain Kenny McLean gets the ball and tries his luck from distance, but his shot sails over Ben Hamer's crossbar.

  7. Postpublished at 19:46 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

Blackburn Rovers manager John Eustace returns to his former side Birmingham City tonight for his first game in charge.

Eustace's spell with Blues was cut short by their new ownership's decision to appoint Wayne Rooney, whose ill-fated spell lasted just 15 matches.

Former Blackburn boss Tony Mowbray took over from Rooney, with Eustace taking charge at Ewood Park following Jon Dahl Tomasson's departure last week.

However, he has played down his return to St Andrew's despite the manner of his exit.

"It's another game and opportunity for us to pick three points up," he said.

Asked whether he felt he could gain an advantage because of his knowledge of the Birmingham team, Eustace told BBC Radio Lancashire: "I think everyone knows about everyone's teams now at this stage of the season.

"The analysts here are very good. They know all the ins and outs of the team and I've listened to what they've got to say and they're spot on.

"It's just important that we focus on ourselves and try to do the best we can."

  11. A matter of when not if for Millers?published at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

    Rotherham v Hull City (19:45)

To say Rotherham's hopes of staying in the Championship look slim is something of an understatement.

The Millers are 12 points adrift of safety and haven't won a game since Boxing Day.

Hull City saw their play-off push dented by a surprise 1-0 home reverse by out-of-sorts Swansea on Saturday.

They'll look to get back to winning ways this evening and have brought veteran goal-getter Billy Sharp back into their starting line-up.

  12. Can Robins stop Saints' unbeaten run?published at 19:37 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

Bristol City v Southampton (20:00 GMT)

Southampton's incredible 22-game unbeaten run has propelled them into the automatic promotion spots as they look to return to the Premier League at the first opportunity. But that run came under serious threat in an unbelievable match against Huddersfield at St Mary's at the weekend.

Saints twice fought back, first to draw level at 2-2 after the Terriers took an early two-goal lead, and then again from 3-2 down with thee goals coming after 80+ minutes to seal a dramatic 5-3 victory on Saturday.

Manager Russell Martin said he was proud of the way his players reacted to going behind but will no doubt demand a stronger start from his team at Ashton Gate, after Bristol City ended a six-match winless run with a 2-1 win away at Middlesbrough at the weekend.

  13. Swans look to end Whites' 100% start to 2024published at 19:32 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

    Swansea v Leeds (19:45 GMT)

A visit from Leeds is probably bottom of every Championship sides' wishlist right now.

The Whites have been in imperious form so far in 2024 with six wins from six league games.

Swansea ended their poor run of form with a narrow win at Hull on Saturday but they're still in danger of getting pulled into the scrap at the bottom of the table.

They make one change from the win over the Tigers, with Bashir Humphreys coming in for Kyle Naughton.

Leeds have named the same XI that started the win over the Millers. Former Swan Dan James returns to the bench.

  14. Dike to miss rest of the season with another serious injurypublished at 19:29 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

West Brom v Cardiff (19:45 GMT)

West Brom will be without striker Daryl Dike tonight as well as for the rest of the season after he suffered another ruptured Achilles tendon during their draw at Ipswich.

The USA forward lasted only nine minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute before being led from the field on a cart.

Dike had been making his fifth appearance of the season during an already injury-disrupted campaign having missed nine months of 2023 with a separate Achilles injury suffered last April.

Albion said in a statement that Dike would not be expected to play again "until the end of 2024".

Sheffield Wednesday gave their flagging Championship survival hopes a timely boost with a 2-0 win at home to Birmingham on Friday.

With a number of the teams immediately above them in the league not in action this evening they would move to within two points of safety with an unlikely win.

Of course, if they are to take the points back from the King Power Stadium tonight it would probably be the surprise of the season.

The Foxes are 11 points clear at the top of the second tier table and are well on course to secure an immediate return to the Premier League and break the Championship points record.

  16. Watford - Norwich's bogey team?published at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 13 February

    Norwich v Watford (19:45 GMT)

The Hornets have become a bit of a pain for the Canaries, in the world of football at least! Watford have beaten the Norfolk club in eight of their last nine meetings, as well as eight of the past 11 matches between the two clubs at Carrow Road.

But Norwich are unbeaten in seven games at home, while Watford are without a win in six games in all competitions.

In November, Watford fought back from two goals down to win 3-2 in the reverse fixture at Vicarage Road.

Could we see the trend broken tonight?
