Huddersfield are looking to put some real daylight between themselves and the relegation zone and they're going the right way about it so far.

Matty Pearson's close range finish has them a goal to the good at the break.

    Millwall 0-2 Ipswich

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

Desperately poor own goal by Millwall, but credit to Town.

We've deserved it. I like the calmness. Since 17 minutes, we've taken charge.

  3. goal

GOAL: Millwall 0-2 Ipswichpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Wes Harding OG (32 min)

Ah, Wes Harding won't want to see this again!

The visitors do well to work the ball out to Nathan Broadhead on the left hand side.

The goalscorer's ball in flashes across the face of goal behind the back line and Harding can only turn it into his own net to double Ipswich's lead.

  4. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Plymouth 0-0 Coventry

Plenty of chances in this one but no goals at present.

These teams don't often do goalless draws and, I'll stick my neck out here, I don't see this one finishing that way either.

  5. goal

GOAL: Stoke 1-0 QPRpublished at 20:32 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Wouter Burger (45 min)

The home side have the lead and it's the captain Wouter Burger in at the back stick.

Lewis Baker swings in a corner and Luke McNally is there to flick the ball on for Burger to tap in at the far post.

    Millwall 0-1 Ipswich

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

The boys haven't panicked, they've held themselves together. We've had our success by being calm and sensible on the ball.

    Millwall 0-1 Ipswich

    Brenner Woolley
    BBC Radio Suffolk commentator

That is just the second time in 11 games Ipswich have scored first. They've conceded first in the last five.

    Nathan Broadhead (24 min)

I said moments ago we'd seen a change in momentum at the Den and Ipswich have made it count.

Omari Hutchinson whips an in-swinging cross in from the right hand side and Nathan Broadhead is there to head it beyond Matija Sarkic to take the lead.

  9. Postpublished at 20:26 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Millwall 0-0 Ipswich

Ipswich are finding their feet in the game, with Omari Hutchinson starting to pull the strings.

The tricky winger gets by Jake Cooper, with Nathan Broadhead meeting the resulting corner with a first-time right foot shot.

His effort is deflected and loops over via the crossbar.

    Close for the visitors.

Hopefully that is a wake up call. There was clearly a misunderstanding there.

The home side hit the front!

Huddersfield defender Matty Pearson bundles the ball in from four yards after Anthony Patterson spills Jack Rudoni's shot from a free-kick.

Town need the points tonight and they've got the lead.

    Huddersfield 0-0 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

The tempo is slowing down from Huddersfield. Sunderland are starting to get more space.

  13. Postpublished at 20:23 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Plymouth 0-0 Coventry

Matt Godden heads wide from very close in for the away side.

    Huge let-off for the hosts.

  14. Postpublished at 20:22 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Stoke 0-0 QPR

Finally a chance for Stoke and definitely the biggest chance of the game.

Lewis Baker swings in a corner for the host with Michael Rose rising high to send a powerful header goalwards.

Asmir Begovic is equal to it and athletically tips the ball over the bar as the Potters give their fans some excitement, it's only taken half an hour.

    Stoke 0-0 QPR

Still just the one shot on target in this game, a very slow start to this one!

QPR probably just edging the early stages as they aim to extend their unbeaten run to five games for the first time since October 2022.

Marti Cifuentes will probably be the happier of the two managers, so far.

  16. Postpublished at 20:17 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Preston 1-0 Middlesbrough

As it stands, and of course there is a LONG way to go, Preston will finish the night level on points with sixth place.

Ryan Lowe's men might just be going under the radar.

  17. Postpublished at 20:16 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Millwall 0-0 Ipswich

    All Millwall at the moment.

The Lions win a free-kick on the right hand side, which is swung into the area and headed out to Ryan Leonard, whose fierce right-foot shot is well saved by Vaclav Hladky.

The Lions then win another free-kick, this time on the left, and Zian Flemming tries his luck from the angle.

But the low effort is easily saved at the near post.

Ipswich have not got going yet in Kieran McKenna's 100th league game.

  18. Postpublished at 20:13 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Huddersfield 0-0 Sunderland

    Half-chance for the home side.

Sorba Thomas gets forward well down the Town left and his ball into the middle eventually bounces back for David Kasumu 18 yards out.

He steadies himself but just cuts across the bouncing ball and it fades past the post.

  19. goal

    Liam Millar (23 mins)

Our first goal of the night!

Preston are looking for a third successive win and they're going the right way about it.

Liam Millar's low strike from the edge of the area beats Boro keeper Tom Glover at his near post.

  20. Postpublished at 20:07 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February

    Millwall 0-0 Ipswich

The home side have flown out of the blocks in the night's 8pm kick-off, just as they did in their defeat at Coventry this weekend.

Jake Cooper has an early penalty appeal turned away as he tumbles in the box.

George Saville then takes aim from outside the area after chesting the ball down, but the midfielder's effort is straight at Vaclav Hladky for an easy save.

    Great start by the Lions.
