  1. Swans still in it for nowpublished at 16:30 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Swansea 1-2 Ipswich

    Gareth Vincent
BBC Sport Wales at the Swansea.com Stadium

Ipswich might have put this game to bed had Swansea goalkeeper Carl Rushworth not turned Kieffer Moore's drive on to the crossbar just after the hour mark.

As it is, Swansea are still in it.

The Swans have taken only four points from six league games since Luke Williams took over.

They must find a way to hurt Ipswich if they are to add to that tally this afternoon, with the Tractor Boys fairly comfortable for the moment.

Robbie Brady celebrates scoring for Preston against BlackburnImage source, Rex Features

The Lancashire derby is about as edgy as you would expect given the manner in which the first half ended.

Robbie Brady and Emil Riis were the goalscorers for Preston just before the break to send them level and they've both exchanged chances so far in the second.

Meanwhile, Callum Brittain's left-footed drive from the right hand end of the box is well blocked as Blackburn try to edge ahead once more.

    Millwall 0-2 Sheff Wed

Millwall are giving this a real go now, as they need to.

Should results stay as they are presently the Lions will end the day one point above the relegation zone.

  5. Level & now two big names off Blues benchpublished at 16:26 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Birmingham 1-1 Sunderland

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

Juninho Bacuna and Siriki Dembele have 13 goals between them this season.

Dembele is not bad by the way, he has a bit of pace about him, he is direct.

I remember him at Peterborough and Bournemouth.

Jamie Vardy and Kasey McAteer are on.

Four subs from the hosts now.

  8. goal

GOAL: Birmingham 1-1 Sunderlandpublished at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Jordan James (60 mins)

Birmingham level against Sunderland on the hour mark.

Jordan James strikes from close range shortly after Koji Miyoshi had seen an effort of his own blocked off the line by Trai Hume.

Plenty of mileage in this game, however.

Huddersfield midfielder Alex Matos' shot takes a deflection but Ryan Allsop does well to adjust and keep it out.

  10. Another big chance for Boro against table-toppers Leicesterpublished at 16:19 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Leicester 0-2 Middlesbrough

    Mark Drury
    BBC Tees commentator

Finn Azaz taken out by Wout Faes and he is going to be shown the yellow card.

It is a free-kick in a good position, left central, this is shooting distance.

Riley McGree's shot is over the wall, but just half a yard wide - so close to Boro going 3-0 in front.

I was waiting for the net to bulge.

The home side go to the bench for the second time this afternoon.

Yunus Akgun is on for the Foxes.

  12. goal

GOAL: Norwich 3-1 Cardiffpublished at 16:18 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Josh Sargent (54 mins)

This should put Norwich out of sight against Cardiff, you would think.

Josh Sargent registers his second goal of the afternoon and this time finds the net with a quickfire finish inside the box.

That goal for the US international - his seventh in six games - came on the rebound after he had hit the woodwork shortly beforehand.

  13. goal

GOAL: Rotherham 0-1 Watfordpublished at 16:17 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Yaser Asprilla (59 mins)

A beauty from Watford's Yaser Asprilla.

The cross comes in, it's poorly defended, the ball bounces out toward the Colombian midfielder who uncorks a half-volley from the penalty spot and rifles it into the corner of the net.

    Preston 2-2 Blackburn

Preston have their tails up after their storming finish to the first half.

Mads Frokjaer tees up Emil Riis with a cheeky back heel and the ball is then worked to Robbie Brady whose low drive at goal is well blocked by Blackburn.

  15. Postpublished at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Millwall 0-2 Sheff Wed

Zian Flemming sees a shot deflect behind for a corner and the Dutchman's header from the subsequent corner is well saved by James Beadle in the Owls goal.

The Lions need to find a way back into this or they will be precariously above the relegation zone at the close of play.

  16. Referee in pain - do we really all need to laugh?!published at 16:16 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Preston 2-2 Blackburn

    Andy Bayes
    Reporter, BBC Radio Lancashire

We may have a break in play here as there is an injury to the official.

'You're not fit to referee' is being belted around the ground - Lancashire humour for you.

    Leicester 0-2 Middlesbrough

Leicester boss Enzo Maresca barks instructions from the dugoutImage source, PA Media

The league leaders have only lost by two goals twice so far this season.

Once against Liverpool in the EFL Cup and once at play-off chasing Coventry in January.

They're pushing for a way back into this but they've yet to have a shot on target in this match and Riley McGree goes close to making it 3-0 as he pokes an effort by Mads Hermansen in the Foxes net.

  18. goal

GOAL: Stoke 0-1 Coventrypublished at 16:12 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Ellis Simms (51 mins)

    Coventry go ahead!

Haji Wright claims possession and Callum O'Hare feeds Ellis Simms who slots the ball past the Stoke keeper and into the back of the net.

    The visitors on top.

  19. Postpublished at 16:06 Greenwich Mean Time 17 February 2024

    Leicester 0-2 Middlesbrough

If Boro can hold on to this it would see them do the double over Leicester for the first time since 2001-02 in the Premier League.

It would also give their ailing play-off chances a real shot in the arm.

    Birmingham 0-1 Sunderland

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

This is more like it, what I wanted to see from the Blues this second half.

Gaps are opening up in this Sunderland defence.
