Motherwell manager Stuart Kettlewell on loan signing Adam Devine: "Adam is a promising, young talent.

"He has made appearances at first-team level for Rangers and has been a regular in the matchday squads, which I think shows he is highly thought of.

"I hope he brings energy and enthusiasm. This is a chance for him to prove himself at this level and I look forward to working with him."

  4. From Lowland League to Premier Leaguepublished at 20:14 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

Not many players go from Scotland's Lowland League to the Premier League in one transfer swoop.

But that's exactly what Albion Rovers forward Joe Bevan has achieved in joining Burnley today.

Even if it is only to join the Clarets' under-21 set-up, they have seen enough potential to pay an undisclosed fee for the 19-year-old.

Bevan has signed an 18-month contract after a successful trial.

He described it as "a big achievement" to join "such a big club".

  6. County hoping for one morepublished at 20:04 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

With his side struggling at the wrong end of the Premiership, Derek Adams vowed to be aggressive in the January transfer window and he has certainly been true to his word.

So far six players have checked in to the Global Energy Stadium - all on loan - as Adams tries to come up with a formula that will help the Staggies move up the table.

And their winter business doesn’t appear to be over either, with another new face expected to arrive in Dingwall before of tonight’s deadline.

danzig66: Good signing for Killie. Would have been happy to see him at the Dons. Especially if we lose Duk

Gaavster: Armstrong, Kennedy, KVV, Greg Stewart, GMS, Vassell, Watkins and big Innes Cameron... what a selection headache we've got!

    Jim: That's huge for Killie.

  9. Managerless Dons still working awaypublished at 19:51 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Tyrone Smith
    BBC Sport Scotland

Aberdeen have certainly hit the headlines during this transfer window, but not for new signings, with the departure of manager Barry Robson instead making the news.

On the signings front, things have been quiet, the loan signing of Crystal Palace midfielder Killian Phillips is their only bit of business.

However, as the clock ticks down, they are still working on adding to their squad before tonight’s deadline.

And with injuries to defenders Slobodan Rubezic and Stefan Gartenmann, it would appear rearguard reinforcements would be the priority.

And after weeks of speculation, the Dons fans will be breathing a sigh of relief if Bojan Miovski and Duk are still Aberdeen players when the window shuts.

  10. Could Carson be crucial for Livi?published at 19:48 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

    Brian McLauchlin
    BBC Scotland

With all Livingston's troubles off the field, David Carson will be a more than welcome addition on the pitch.

The 28-year-old has signed an 18-month deal after leaving Inverness CT.

If Livingston are to somehow steer their way out of the relegation spot, he will no doubt be a crucial part of what they need to do on the pitch in the final 15 games of the season.

I understand that's the end of Livi's window.

Not many in Scottish football will have heard of Warrington Rylands of the Northern Division Premier League in England, and even fewer will know about the talents of striker Adama Sidibeh.

Craig Levein has clearly thought enough of the 25-year-old to spend what little cash was available for the player, who only joined Warrington from Cheadle Heath Nomads last summer.

That also looks to be the final piece of business by Saints in what has been a relatively quiet transfer window.

Motherwell have agreed a deal to take Rangers full-back Adam Devine on loan until the end of the season.

Oscar Cortes would become Rangers' third signing of the January tansfer window

It looks increasingly likely that Rangers will seal the loan deal for Oscar Cortes from Lens.

Work continues to finalise the deal for the Colombian winger who has only made four appearances for Lens this season.

As it stands, it is my understanding Cyriel Dessers will be staying put at Rangers despite speculation linking him with Hellas Verona in Italy.

There is also speculation over an Ibrox exit for midfielder Jose Cifuentes, who has been linked with Cruzeiro in Brazil, but the Brazilian transfer market remains open beyond tonight.

Meanwhile, a young Rangers starlet may be about to take a loan opportunity to another Premiership club. I understand full-back Adam Devine is close to a switch to Motherwell.

  19. 'Great attributes & fantastic attitude' - Montgomery on Bevanpublished at 19:17 Greenwich Mean Time 1 February

Hibs boss Nick Montgomery on new signing Owen Bevan: "Our relationship with Bournemouth allowed us to look closely at their young players, and Owen was one that stood out instantly.

"Having watched him during his loan spell at Cheltenham Town earlier this season, I was really keen to try and bring him in for the second half of this season.

"Owen is a young centre-back with great attributes and a fantastic attitude.

"He can play either side as a centre-back and at right-back, which provides us with great depth and competition for places. We look forward to working with him."
