Kilmarnock are set to seal a loan deal to sign Kevin van Veen for the rest of the season.
After a duel with St Mirren for his signature, the Rugby Park club have won the race to sign the Dutch striker who scored 29 goals for Motherwell last season.
Following a disappointing spell in the Netherlands with Groningen this season, Van Veen has now opted to spend the second half of the campaign in Ayrshire.
After a strong start to the cinch Premiership season Kilmarnock currently sit in fourth place.
Oh my, it's all happening.
We have a HUGE Kevin van Veen update incoming...
Hibs have added another young defender to their ranks as Bournemouth centre-back Owen Bevan joins on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old becomes Nick Montgomery's third arrival from The Cherries this window, with Emiliano Marcondes and Nathan Moriah-Welsh also moving to the capital on a temporary basis.
Bevan spent the first half of the campaign on loan at League One Cheltenham Town, but was recalled after an injury.
He made his Premier League debut for Bournemouth at Anfield in 2022, coming off the bench in a 9-0 defeat to Liverpool.
Hibs fans...
We've got news for you.

Hearts had been linked with a move for former Motherwell striker Kevin Van Veen, but with Lawrence Shankland now looking highly likely to be staying put - for the meantime, at least - there was no real reason for the club to make the deal happen.
Steven Naismith's priority was always to bring in a right-sided full-back or wing-back, and in Wolves loanee Dexter Lembikisa, they have certainly done that.
The signing of Scott Fraser on loan from Charlton will also add to the midfield.
Looks like the window has also closed now for Hearts.
Speaking of prominent names in the transfer market, let's chat about Lawrence Shankland.
Many a pundit has suggested the Hearts striker would be a shrewd signing for one of Scotland's big two.
But is he going anywhere? An update from Tynecastle coming right up...
We can assume Motherwell's message to Taylor Swift has been left unread, eh?

Motherwell are optimistic of one or two signings, but one of them won't be Kevin van Veen.
Van Veen was keen on a return to Fir Park, but the club have been priced out of a move despite offering a "substantial package".
Having lost recent loan singing Adam Montgomery to injury, the club are seeking an agreement to take Rangers full-back Adam Devine on loan.
What does that mean for Motherwell, then?

It now looks like a straight battle between Kilmarnock and St Mirren for Kevin van Veen.
The Dutch striker looks destined to return to Scotland after a short spell with Groningen.
He scored an incredible 29 goals for Motherwell last season and given his success in Scotland you can see exactly why both sides are after the Dutchman.
How often have you seen Kevin van Veen's name today?
The Dutchman looks set to return to Scotland, but to where?
We've got the lowdown...
Nectarios Triantes has his eyes on lifting the Scottish Cup with Hibs after joining on loan from Sunderland until the end of the season.
“I am really excited to be here," the centre-back said. "It hasn’t been a long time coming but it has been in the works for a while now so I am delighted to be here now and really excited to get started.
“The team, the gaffer, the way that Hibs play were all big parts of my reason to come here.
“I know a lot about how the team play through my time in Australia playing under Monty and Sergio (Raimundo).
"I had an amazing time at Central Coast, it was my debut season playing professional football, so to win silverware in that year was amazing and it has given me that hunger to achieve more.
“The gaffer and I spoke together and he showed me his visualisation for the rest of the season. Of course, we want to try to win the Scottish Cup and do as well as we can in the league between now and the end of the season."

Celtic are yet to confirm a deal for Norwich and Republic of Ireland striker Adam Idah, with the player in Glasgow finalising the move to offer more options up front.
Manager Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly expressed his desire to add "quality" to the squad and recently suggested there were a “number of areas” the club were looking to improve on.
As things stand, Celtic have only secured winger Nicolas Kuhn from Rapid Vienna in this transfer window.
Rodgers also cited the need to trim the squad and it looks like that will happen to an extent.
Midfielder David Turnbull has undergone a medical with Cardiffp and is now expected to complete a permanent move before the window closes.
West Brom are closing in on a move for winger Mikey Johnston who has struggled to make an impact since his return from a loan with Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
Right, let's get to Celtic...
If you want to join the debate tonight, feel free.
Just send us a post @BBCSportScot on X (you know the thing that used to be called Twitter?).
Let us know what you want to see from your club before the window closes.
Just keep it PG, cheers.

There is hard work going on behind the scenes at Rangers as they try to get a loan deal for Colombian winger Oscar Cortes over the line.
The 20-year-old winger joined Lens in France from Colombian club Millonarios for a reported fee of £3.5m last summer, but he has only made four appearances.
I'm also hearing young Rangers full-back Adam Devine - grandson of Scottish singing legend Sydney Devine - could be heading out on loan to either Motherwell or Kilmarnock.
Music to the ears of fans of those clubs? Sorry, could not help myself.
Officially, not too much so far.
Jon McCracken has returned to Dundee on loan from Norwich for the rest of this season and David Carson has signed for Livingston from Inverness CT.
There's plenty bubbling away, though. Let's get around the grounds...
St Johnstone have signed striker Adama Sidibeh for an undisclosed fee from Northern Premier League club Warrington Rylands.
The 26-year-old forward joins on a two-and-a-half-year deal from the English seventh-tier side.
A statement from his former club said: "The board and all involved at the club are delighted for Adama to get this move to the top level of Scottish football.
"We would like to thank him for some of the great memories he leaves us with this season.
"Our best wishes to both the player and St Johnstone for the future."
