Erling Haaland and Phil Foden both move up to six Manchester derby goals in the Premier League.

Only Sergio Aguero (eight), Wayne Rooney (eight) and Eric Cantona (seven) have scored more.

Remember Haaland didn't even play for City two years ago.

Eleven league games they've lost. It's a scary stat. It was men v boys at the end. They were just hanging in there, making mistakes. It could have been four or five.

Stavros: Apart from the goal Rashford's energy and commitment was again at least questionable. And then you have Foden from Manchester City and the comparison doesn't make the situation better for Rashford.

I don't want to be too hard on United because City were brilliant. They showed why they're champions.

What City do is they find out all your shortcomings. There's no hiding place. It's like a boxing ring. They wore them down.

The stats show you how dominant Man City were. Haaland and De Bruyne weren't at their best but then Foden steps up.

I think it's more credit to Man City than being too critical of Man Utd. Manchester United will have to take their medicine today. Huge question marks for this team and the manager.

Manchester United were defending so well but they can't do that for 90 minutes. In the end the quality showed. They are two different teams - one trying to find themselves. Manchester City blew them away with their quality.

Man Utd are so far behind Manchester City. City deserved to win the game.

I thought the scoreline was going to be bigger. If you are a Man Utd fan you are thinking, 'how on earth are we going to catch Man City in the near future?'. There's a massive gulf in class.

Can’t wait for Ten Hag to pin this on the Walker non-foul on Rashford! Pathetic lack of intent from United! It’s a derby - show some spine!

    City deserve it.

They played some good football and were very patient, Bernardo Silva led this team to the victory.

But, today belongs to Phil Foden what a young player and an amazing footballing brain - two brilliant goals.

Sometimes derby matches can be emotional passionate affairs especially for local players who have come through the academy and it means a lot to.

He's as cool as ice, Phil Foden. He's such a special talent. He's here to stay. He's such a wonderful player.

Keeping Haaland quiet is a job!

City's organisation and concentration, even at 1-0 down I thought they would get a goal.

Bernardo Silva has organised and orchestrated everything that has gone on in the second half - he has been outstanding.
