    In the end, United keeper Andre Onana went down citing cramp. It was the trigger for a number of players to go to Erik ten Hag for instruction.

    Jon: yes maybe it wasn’t a foul on Rashford but City have been given so many soft free-kicks no worse than that one, so obviously they were going to score straight after the referee ignored one for United.

    Andrew: Walker on Rashford is the kind of soft contact that maybe gets given if the attacking player is 60-yards from goal. No referee is going to give that (and have to subsequently send a defender off) 30-yards from goal, nor should he. Rashford should have stayed on his feet.
