Think about it, Chelsea concede silly goals. It’s not the attack that needs investing in, it’s the defence. Silva is old, Chilwell and James are always injured, as is Badiashile. Colwill is also out of his depth. Cucurella is somewhere out there.. Petrovic is good but needs gametime, and Sanchez is overrated.

Everton seems to think it's ok to score one and then sit back for the rest of the game and try and absorb the pressure. Disappointing lads, disappointing. You've let me down. You've let yourselves down

    Best chance of the game.

Anthony Elanga should hit the target, Harry Toffolo smashes it across the box to Elanga who is unmarked and he fires it wide - Elanga should at least hit the target!

Sebastian: We only ever play well for 20-30 minutes in a game max. The rest of the time we give the opposition the freedom to create chances or its just a bore fest. Maddison rarely dictates a game, Bissouma has fallen off since October & Kulu has 1 good game in 5.

Gee: Is Joe Gomez the new James Milner? Other than the fact he never takes a shot, of course

  19. CLOSE!published at 16:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March
