    Arsenal v Porto (agg: 0-1, 20:00 GMT)

Porto have started with the same 11 players as in their 1-0 home win over Arsenal three weeks ago.

That same starting XI beat Benfica (5-0 at home) and Portimonense (3-0 away from home) in their following league matches.

In the first leg experience, or lack of it, was the problem.

Going into a first leg away from home into an atmosphere like that which was very hostile and Porto made it difficult for them. I think Arsenal probably went away from what they have been doing this season, which is pretty much outperforming every other team in the league right now.

Tonight they need to go back to the way that they have been playing week in and week out. They will need to chase Porto tonight, who will be stubborn, will no doubt play in that low block, but Arsenal need to play their own way.

I fully expect that Mikel Arteta will get his team fired up from the start. They start incredibly quickly at home and they just need to be more aggressive in front of goal.

The result away from home was really disappointing, given the general performance was very well measured.

It was very well controlled in terms of possession and passes but zero shots on target, and I think that's the key for this evening.

Both teams have scored in all the five previous meetings between Barcelona and Napoli in all competitions.

Victor Osimhen’s equaliser for Napoli in the first leg against Barcelona was his ninth Champions League goal.

That is the joint-most by a Nigerian player in the history of the competition (level with Obafemi Martins).

Robert Lewandowski has been involved in 18 goals in his last 12 appearances in the knockout rounds of the Champions League, scoring 12 and assisting six.

He’s also had a hand in 11 goals in his last 10 games against Italian sides in the competition (seven goals, four assists).

I felt for Aaron Ramsdale at the weekend, it is one of those things, and the way he put it to one side and dealt with it, I'm sure there were a lot of demons in his head. But he performed to a good level afterwards.

For me David Raya has done everything Mikel Arteta has asked him to do. His style, playing out from the back, he's not shy about taking risks every now and then either, which Mikel likes.

I'm still looking at the Galeno goal in the first leg and thinking that it could have been prevented. Particularly in the Champions League you're expecting your goalkeeper to do better there.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta talking to TNT Sports: "Kai Havertz has been very important, we knew he would have an impact. He needed a bit of time and a bit of love.

"We will try to attack better, be more of a threat and put them on the ropes. We had a lot of the ball last time but not with enough courage to make things happen.

"If we want to turn into the club we want we have to live these nights and we have to go through."

  12. Barca's 'most important game of the season'published at 19:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 March

    Barcelona v Napoli (Agg: 1-1, 20:00 GMT)

    Barcelona

Barcelona boss Xavi has called tonight Champions League tie with Napoli as their most important game of the season.

The two sides shared the first-leg honours in Italy three weeks ago, with Robert Lewandowski’s effort cancelled out by Victor Osimhen for Napoli in the 1-1 draw.

Five-time winners Barcelona have not reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League since the 2019-20 season, and Xavi is in no doubt as to the significance of the round-of-16 second-leg return at Estadi de Montjuic.

“It’s the most important game of the season and we are prepared with enthusiasm,” said Xavi. “It’s been four years since we’ve been in the quarter-finals and that’s how we approach it.

“We want to compete against an opponent who, even though they’re not in the best moment, has the foundation of being Serie A champion.

“We need a full stadium. The fans have to be loud and turn Montjuic into a pressure cooker.”

This is where Arsenal's squad depth will be tested, that has been a constant debate throughout the whole season, 'Will they be able to last the whole season?'

I don't need to look at the teamsheet most weeks, I know the starting lineup like the back of my hand.

Gabriel Martinelli will be a miss for them tonight of course, he is the sort of player who plays through anything if he can. Leandro Trossard is someone who has come into the side a number of times now and done really well.

Of course you want to be playing every week, but when you aren't you need to come on and give the manager a headache. This is Trossard's chance to make himself first choice.

Calzona said: “We will go there with respect for the opponent but without fear. We are Napoli.

“We have started a journey and the team has made an important step forward.

“The boys have shown me great availability from day one from all points of view. There is a great desire to do well and five useful results don’t happen by chance.

    Arsenal v Porto (agg: 0-1, 20:00 GMT)

Arsenal are looking to reach the Champions League quarter-finals for the first time since 2009-10.

They have been eliminated from the last 16 more than any other side, including each of their past seven appearances in the competition.

Porto have progressed from three and been eliminated from three of their previous six Champions League knockout-stage ties in which they have won the first leg.

They have never won both legs of a knockout tie in the competition.
