Think that'll do us for the night, troops.

Thanks, as ever, for joining on another night of drama.

No idea what day it is, or when there are more games, but I guess we'll be back soon 'cause there is fitbaw on all the time.

    Wouldn't change it though. Cheerio.

Livingston manager David Martindale tells BBC Scotland: "I thought defensively we were very good tonight. The difference in the game is the substitutions Kilmarnock could make.

"Over the piece, we had the better chances in the game. It's fine margins at this level and I find it hard to fault the players too much. It's just the execution in the final third that is hampering us.

"When you're in a hole, the boys' self-esteem takes a battering. If we can just get that goal, get that victory, I do believe there will be a huge turnaround in the players' fortunes.

"We've got to be a wee bit more clinical. There's still a lot of points to play for so I don't think games are running out.

"Every week, the hole you're in gets a little bit bigger, but we've got enough to try stay in the league."

On Derek Adams' Ross County resignation: "My honest thoughts - I'm gutted."

  4. 'Subs made real contribution' - McInnespublished at 22:44 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

    FT: Kilmarnock 1-0 Livingston

Kilmarnock manager Derek McInnes tells BBC Scotland: "It was a tough watch. Livingston surprised us a wee bit with their shape, we never used the ball well enough and there was no fluidity to our play.

"We were fortunate to go in at 0-0. The subs made a real contribution and that's what it's all about - the squad have to be ready.

"We weren't brilliant second half, but I thought we were better and had good control.

"They are the best ones to win because it looked so difficult for us at times. You look back on these ones, and it's the all-important goal that Marley scores.

"The supporters were right not to be happy, but when they got behind us we looked like a team who could go and get the goal.

"Without the subs' impact it would have been far more difficult. Van Veen plays a part in the goal and he brings a calmness when it's panicky."

I don't want to make it all about the top two, but you just can't take your eyes of this title race.

It's going to be a blockbuster end to the season, isn't it?

Not just at the top, of course.

  6. 'We showed mentality of champions' - Rodgerspublished at 22:37 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

    FT: Hibernian 1-2 Celtic

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers tells BBC Scotland: "Winning was never going make us champions tonight, but with 14 games to go it's very important you get the victories.

"First half we had control, we got a great start so early with good moments.

"Second half we didn't play great, Hibs deserve credit, they pressed on to the game. Too many times we played backwards.

"But the team showed the mentality of champions."

On match-winner Adam Idah: "He showed great composure. He's scored penalties at the very highest level. That's why we put him on them. Great night for him."

Rodgers confirms Alistair Johnston has been sent to hospital because of a head clash but says "hopefully he'll be okay".

  8. Shankland 'best forward in the league' - Naismithpublished at 22:31 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

    FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Hearts

Hearts manager Steven Naismith tells BBC Scotland: "The stage we're at we're a good footballing team and control games.

"We more than most have more possession and that leads to playing against a low block at times. You need to find a way.

"First half we probed and prodded and had some good chances, but not as many as we thought we should have.

"These games hinge on that first goal and we speeded the play up in the second half which was better and that gave us the chance.

"Lawrence has put it away with a brilliant couple of touches and a great finish.

"He's in the prime of his career and he's worked hard to get there. He has a clearance off the line which shows his understanding.

"He doesn't do what most forwards do and start going up the pitch, he waits until the danger is closed out before moving back into his position.

"We're a good team. He's had more shots per game than any striker in the league and more touches in the opposition box. All that comes from us being a good team and the supply we give him.

"He's the guy who makes the difference at the end. He's the best forward in the league and it's another example tonight of him showing that."

  9. Killie flying high as games run out for Livipublished at 22:27 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

    FT: Kilmarnock 1-0 Livingston

    Kheredine Idessane
    BBC Scotland at Rugby Park

A much-improved second half from Kilmarnock earned them a hard-fought three points in front of their own fans, keeping their quest for European football well and truly on track and consolidating their position as the country's fourth best team.

They made visiting keeper Shamal George pull off several top class saves to deny Matty Kennedy and Marley Watkins before the latter's perseverance finally paid off as he slammed in Kevin Van Veen's headed assist.

Livingston will look back on several good chances that they failed to convert, with Mo Sangare in the second half and Tete Yengi in the first particularly culpable.

Before the break, they also had a Dan Mackay effort ruled out for offside. It's not that Livi were bad, far from it, just far from clinical.

It stretches their unwanted winless streak to 17 matches. They're six points adrift having played two more games than managerless Ross County.

The games are running out for Livi, while they can't come quickly enough for Killie.

  10. Levein encouraged despite defeatpublished at 22:23 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

    FT: St Johnstone 0-1 Hearts

    Craig LeveinImage source, SNS

St Johnstone manager Craig Levein tells BBC Scotland: "Frustrated a little bit. But there was a lot of things I was pleased about.

"It was a pretty good performance and passages of passing football. We more than matched Hearts when we got into it after 15-20 minutes.

"I was pleased with the performance, obviously not the result because losing at home is never a good thing.

"I thought we deserved something from the match, but we didn't get it. Hey-ho.

"It's Lawrence Shankland that's undone us. He's strong, intelligent and he can finish. He's got a nice cool head in the penalty area.

"We restricted him to very little in the whole match, but that shows you it's not about looking after him for 90 minutes, but even more than that.

"But I saw some really encouraging signs and hopefully that's us back on track."

Another win for Hearts, that is now eight in their last nine league games.

Steven Naismith must be delighted with the ruthlessness and relentlessness his team are showing.

They may be comfortable in third place, but his side seem as hungry as ever to keep churning out the victories.

St Johnstone can't really complain about the outcome, the Gorgie side were the better team and deservedly return south with the three points.

It's another fabulous result for Stephen Robinson and his side as they chase another top-six finish. Nine points clear of seventh place right now makes good reading for St Mirren.

They could have killed it off earlier with a couple of great chances to do so and the late red for James Bolton had the home crowd on the edge of their seats right to the end.

Substitute Toyosi Olusanya did seal it in injury time with a composed finish after, just, beating offside trap to race clear.

On chances created, it was hard to argue the win wasn't deserved although Dundee just don't seem to be able to catch a break right now. Big moments just don't seem to be going their way.

  15. FULL-TIME St Mirren 2-0 Dundeepublished at 22:11 Greenwich Mean Time 7 February

St Mirren strengthen their bid for a top-six finish as they squeeze past fellow European chasers Dundee in Paisley.

Stephen Robinson's side are nine points clear in fifth place after beating their nearest league rivals thanks to goals from Mikael Mandron and Toyosi Olusanya.

The hosts had to play the final 10 minutes with 10 men after James Bolton needlessly flew into a challenge on the halfway line and saw red.

Dundee remain sixth, ahead of Hibernian on goal difference.
