  1. EIGHT MINUTES ADDED TIMEpublished at 21:56 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 3-2 Bristol City

Credit to Ipswich, this has not been their best performance tonight but even with that they just cannot stop scoring.

We're into eight minutes of added time and they're on course for a sixth straight win that will keep them second in the table.

    Leif Davis (89 mins)

I'm not sure I can believe what I'm seeing.

The dust has barely settled on that missed penalty and Ipswich are back on the front foot, not a sign of any heads dropping.

Leif Davis is played in and his low shot gets the better of Max O'Leary this time and Portman Road erupts as he puts his side in front with two minutes on the clock.

  3. 'Bristol deserve to win'published at 21:50 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 2-2 Bristol City

    Mick Mills
Former Ipswich and England captain on BBC Radio Suffolk

    It wasn't a good penalty.

It hasn't been a game of high quality but it's been a real test for the players. Ipswich had to have the character to come back and Bristol have had bad luck at times. They don't deserve to be drawing, they deserve to be winning.

  4. MISSED PENALTY: Ipswichpublished at 21:49 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ali Al-Hamadi (86 mins)

A massive pressure moment for Ipswich and they fall short.

It's a poor penalty kick from Ali Al-Hamadi, who steps up to the spot having already got a goal this evening.

Bristol City keeper Max O'Leary goes the right way and easily makes the save and we remain all square.

  5. 'Leeds ground it out'published at 21:47 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    FT: Leeds 1-0 Stoke

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

I think that Illan Meslier save - last kick of the game - sums it up for me.

Second half, Leeds looked a little bit leggy. They had to grit it out but the timing of the substitutions was really good. Sometimes you've got to have those performances - sometimes you've got to grit it out. They ground it out to the end for a vital three points.

  6. PENALTY: Ipswichpublished at 21:46 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 2-2 Bristol City

Wes Burns is brought down in the box by a sliding Cam Pring and the referee instantly points to the spot.

    This is a HUGE moment.

  7. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Plymouth

Sheffield Wednesday's winning run and great escape keeps going as they take all three points for the fourth time running.

Djeidi Gassama's goal on the hour mark is the difference on the night.

  8. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:44 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Coventry 5-0 Rotherham

Ellis Simms' second hat-trick in as many weeks is the headline as Coventry score four first-half goals to thrash a low-on-confidence Rotherham side.

The Millers, who made it far too easy for their opponents, deserve credit for only conceding one in the second half.

Fabio Tavares slotted home in injury time as the Sky Blues cut the gap to the play-off positions from five to three points, helped by Birmingham's late equalising goal away to Hull.

  9. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 2-2 Bristol Citypublished at 21:43 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Conor Chaplin (79 mins)

    What. Is. Happening!?

Bristol City are in front for barely two minutes before Conor Chaplin comes to Ipswich's rescue and gets on the end of a cross from Leif Davis to head the ball past Max O'Leary and bring his side back level.

  10. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

Leeds United hang on to pick up three precious points and give themselves hope of the automatic places - depending on Ipswich's result at home to Bristol City.

Dan James scored in a dominant first-half, but Stoke fought back and made it a real contest.

Stoke needed Daniel Iversen at his best to keep it so tight, but in the end that James strike was crucial.

Potters still in the mire, but Leeds marching on together toward promotion. Ten wins in 11 unbeaten.

  11. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:42 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

Leicester celebrate winningImage source, Rex Features

Leicester cling on to keep their lead at the top of the Championship but boy did they sweat on Wearside against a desperate Sunderland.

Jamie Vardy's first-half header capped a flying start from the Foxes, but they failed to further capitalise.

Sunderland showed heart and spirit after the break, but failed to break down their opponents.

Leicester end a three-match losing run, Sunderland now five without a win.

  12. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 21:41 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

Dan Ballard goes downImage source, Rex Features

Dan Ballard races into the Leicester box for Sunderland as they press late on.

Hamza Choudhury appears to tug at the big Northern Ireland man's shirt and he tumbles.

    No penalty. Sunderland livid.

    Seconds remaining...

  13. goal

GOAL: Ipswich 1-2 Bristol Citypublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Tommy Conway (77 mins)

Bristol City have done it again!

It's another super substitute move as Mark Sykes and Tommy Conway combine minutes after both coming onto the pitch.

Sykes chases down a would-be dead ball to the byeline, hooking it across the face of goal to Conway who's waiting all on his own and heads it over Vaclav Hldaky into the net.

What might this mean in the promotion chase?

  14. Postpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Plymouth

Into six minutes of added time at Hillsborough and while Argyle are trying to force an equaliser they just haven't quite been firing in the final third tonight.

Sheffield Wednesday have a few minutes to hang on for another huge three points.

  15. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:40 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Blackburn 1-1 Millwall

Neil Harris would have loved to have made it three wins from three games in his second spell in charge.

Second-half substitute Michael Obafemi fired the ball in for the opener to make that a possibility, only for Blackburn's talismanic forward Sammie Szmodics to produce a simple finish after the Lions gave the ball straight to Arnor Sigurdsson.

  16. FULL-TIMEpublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Hull 1-1 Birmingham

A huge lift for Birmingham comes courtesy of Lukas Jutkiewicz's late levelling goal.

Hull were the better attacking side throughout, with Ozan Tufan connecting with a corner to score, before rattling the post.

Ultimately, while it remained 1-0, Blues always had a chance of getting a result.

  17. Postpublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

Another huge save from Stoke goalkeeper Daniel Iversen, who makes himself big to foil Dan James after he raced through one-on-one.

Wears a thudding effort on his chest at point-blank range, and is down.

    Sensational block.

  18. Postpublished at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Coventry 4-0 Rotherham

All credit to Rotherham for keeping the proverbial door shut in this second half.

Coventry's Matty Godden has had a header saved on the line and Callum O'Hare has a go with the rebound, but a defender gets back to block.

  19. GREAT SAVE!published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 1-1 Bristol City

Ooof huge chance for Bristol City to retake the lead as Anis Mehmeti almost doubles his tally for the night.

He cuts inside and lets rip a shot from distance that is kept out by the fingertips of Vaclav Hldaky, who brilliantly dives to tip it over the bar.

  20. 'The subs have changed the game'published at 21:39 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

    Aidy White
Former Leeds United full-back on BBC Radio Leeds

Mateo Joseph is playing up there by himself. He had take the ball up the pitch and was smart enough to turn around and keep possession.

The substitutions have come on and done really well. They've changed the game - kept the ball, kept possession, kept everything simple. It wasn't happening for the first 20 minutes of the second half.
