  1. Who's going down?published at 21:13 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Plymouth

That goal moves Sheffield Wednesday onto 38 points in the live Championship table and while they're still in the bottom three, they're level on points with Stoke, Huddersfield, Birmingham and QPR above them as it stands.

It's some turnaround. Remember they've been in the bottom three since the second round of league games last summer and in December were 12 points from safety.

  2. 'Sunderland believe'published at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

    Gary Bennett
Ex-Sunderland defender on BBC Radio Newcastle

It's much better from Sunderland in this second half. They were completely dominated in the first half.

There's a bit of pace, a bit of tempo, a bit of belief.

  3. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

Big save from Ilian Meslier, who scrabbles across goal to beat away a shot from Stoke's Lewis Baker which was heading for the far corner.

    Leeds not there yet.

  4. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

Sunderland breaking out of their shell and it's timely.

Trai Hume tests Mads Hermansen's reactions with a fierce chance which is tipped onto the bar.

    Leicester's lead almost wiped out.

  5. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 1-1 Millwallpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sammie Szmodics (63 mins)

What did we just say about Sammie Szmodics always stepping up?

Blackburn substitute Arnor Sigurdsson easily intercepted a simple pass out of Millwall's defence and he had time and space to pick out Szmodics, who slots home.

That's league goal number 20 for the Championship's top scorer.

  6. Postpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

Sunderland have to do something, they're trickling to a 1-0 defeat and a fifth loss in a row.

Mike Dodds has sent on Romaine Mundle - a pacy winger and January arrival, and Adil Aouchiche.

Pierre Ekwah and Luis Hemir Semedo make way.

  7. goal

GOAL: Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Plymouthpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Djeidi Gassama (60 mins)

Just as I was about to type that there hasn't been a huge amount of quality in front of goal to shout about here...

It's Sheffield Wednesday who have broken the deadlock with what could be a massive goal in their battle for survival.

Ike Ugbo gets into the box and squares the ball to Djeidi Gassama who pokes it into the net past Conor Hazard.

  8. Postpublished at 21:07 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Plymouth

Darko Gyabi wins the ball high and darts into the middle of the penalty area although I'm not sure if he didn't spot Ryan Hardie on his left in acres of space or couldn't get the ball out from under his feet, but he ended up surrounded by two Owls defenders and lost the ball.

  9. Postpublished at 21:06 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Blackburn 0-1 Millwall

Not for the first time, Blackburn's top scorer Sammie Szmodics tries to step up when his team needs him.

John Buckley plays the ball through and Szmodics has it under control, but the angle is narrow and Millwall keeper Matija Sarkic has the shot covered.

  10. Postpublished at 21:02 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

Dan James close to a second, albeit a heavy deflection almost taking it beyond a wrong-footed Daniel Iversen.

It goes behind for a Leeds corner. Stoke get it clear.

The excellently named and impressive Million Manhoef skirts away with the ball.

  12. 'Bizarre game plan from Sunderland'published at 21:01 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sunderland 0-1 Leicester

    Steve Howard
Former Leicester striker on BBC Radio Leicester

This isn't a classic like the Leeds United game but Leicester are winning - that's all they've got to do. Sunderland look like they aren't doing anything at the moment.

I'm trying to work out their game plan but it's really bizarre. I don't know if it's shell-shocked Leicester. To be a Sunderland fan at the moment - they must be very frustrated.

  13. goal

GOAL: Blackburn 0-1 Millwallpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Michael Obafemi (54 mins)

Having just come on, Millwall's second-half substitute striker Michael Obafemi has delivered.

He is tightly-surrounded by Blackburn defenders, but blasts a shot as he is falling to the ground, lifting it high into the net.

It is just the second shot on target for either side, but it's a pivotal one.

  14. Postpublished at 21:00 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Sheffield Wednesday 0-0 Plymouth

A good spell for Sheffield Wednesday at the start of this second half.

They win a succession of corners and get the chance to fire a few balls into the box. Ian Poveda takes a stab at goal that's on target although Conor Hazard catches relatively easily.

  15. Postpublished at 20:59 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Coventry 4-0 Rotherham

Imagine how different these two sides must feel at the start of this second half.

Coventry have had some big FA Cup wins recently, beating Maidstone United 5-0 and Oxford United 6-2.

Their last four-goal Championship win was at Huddersfield, a year to the day yesterday. Prior to that, they thumped Millwall 6-1 on the final day of the 2020-21 season.

Rotherham's biggest defeat of the season was their 5-0 loss at Watford in November.

  16. Postpublished at 20:57 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Leeds 1-0 Stoke

Daniel Farke has Leeds playing to a particular style, and Stoke are doing their utmost to close it down and smother.

However, the whites are finding passes, discovering space.

The Stoke response has largely broken down on the axis of Glen Kamara and Ethan Ampadu.

  17. 'Manning will be pleased'published at 20:55 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    HT: Ipswich 0-0 Bristol City

    Gary Owers
Former Bristol City midfielder on BBC Radio Bristol

Liam Manning will be pleased with the attitude and organisation of his players. Bristol have equipped themselves well against the second best team in the league, they just need that bit extra.

They've finished the first half strongly. Hard work, honest, gritty; that's what you want to see from a side that has been struggling recently.

  18. Postpublished at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Blackburn 0-0 Millwall

Millwall only had one shot in the first 45 minutes of this match.

Neil Harris is hoping that bringing on Republic of Ireland international striker Michael Obafemi can change that.

You do wonder if these sides would be happy with taking a point from this match to keep themselves ticking over, especially as Stoke - who are in the bottom three - are currently losing 1-0 at Leeds.

As it stands, Blackburn and Millwall are both two points clear of the relegation zone, having played a game more than the three teams below them.

  19. HALF-TIMEpublished at 20:53 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 0-0 Bristol City

No way through for Ipswich so far as they're held against Bristol City at half-time.

The best effort of the half did fall to the hosts as Conor Chaplin's header ricocheted off the post.

  20. CLOSE!published at 20:52 Greenwich Mean Time 5 March

    Ipswich 0-0 Bristol City

A massive mistake by Ipswich and they almost gift a goal to Bristol City as they lose the ball right outside the box with some sloppy passing.

The visitors jump straight on them and Jason Knight gets a shot away that goes just wide.
