Full credit to Yoane Wissa, he doesn't give it up. Aaron Ramsdale has to recover, he to bounce back.

That's a horrible error by Aaron Ramsdale!

Out of nowhere Brentford are back on level terms as Ramsdale dallies after a back-pass and Yoane Wissa steams in to score.

Great anticipation by Wissa, but what was Ramsdale doing?

    The Emirates is stunned.

I think Kai Havertz swings his arm, it's in a dangerous position but the yellow card is the correct decision.

  7. YELLOW CARDpublished at 18:18 Greenwich Mean Time 9 March

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

Yoane Wissa is fine to carry on but now Kristoffer Ajer is down after an aerial challenge with Kai Havertz. Havertz is going to get a yellow card for that, the fourth of the first half. Ajer climbs to his feet with a fat lip.

Raya has slowly proven himself in goal for Arsenal, but Ramsdale is so confident, commandeering and passionate as our goalkeeper. The debate for our No. 1 is still on…

Regarding Declan Rice, we told you so!

    Roger the West Ham fan

There has been some good shouts for signing of the season, and as a Liverpool fan, I think Rice is there or there abouts. Second place for me is Endo! The lad doesn’t put a foot wrong and cost next to nothing!

    Another chance, another miss!

Kai Havertz hooks the latest opportunity over the bar.

Will these missed chances come back to haunt Arsenal? They've carved out seven chances but their lead remains narrow.

We (West Ham fans) told you that 105mil was not just reasonable for Rice but generous and now you (opposition fans) are stating it like it’s brand new information! Yes, he really is that good and yes, we all knew you’d all realise it once you actually bothered to watch him week in, week out!

Rice was great for West Ham and he is destined to be greater for Arsenal - hopefully he comes back in his twilight years?

    Arsenal 1-0 Brentford

Arsenal have been utterly dominant in most of the match, but particularly in the past 15 minutes.

The graphic below shows how the Gunners have held almost 81% possession and how the vast majority of the game has been played in Brentford's half.

The only complaint for Mikel Arteta is his side have not cut Brentford open as much as he probably would have liked.

By the way, that chance for Kai Havertz a moment or two ago would not have counted. He was offside. Tight call.

Absolute love seeing Ramsdale back between the sticks for Arsenal. I think this season has been harsh on him and I hope he can win his spot back, but Arteta isn't shy in making tough choices, even if others don't agree. Initially I thought it would be an issue, but Raya has grown into this squad.

Kai Havertz has been in great form lately but he screws a good opportunity wide after another outstanding move involving Jorginho.

Arsenal should be leading by a more handsome margin.

If Arsenal win the league then Rice will be signing of the season. If not, one of the best.
