  3. 'They refused to lose the game'published at 18:27 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

    FT: Sheffield United 3-3 Fulham

    Fulham

Fulham manager Marco Silva speaking to Match of the Day: "When you play the way we did and were in control most of the game, when you create chances, it's a disappointing result for us.

"If you look at a team losing 3-1 and able to recover you have to congratulate the players for that reaction but looking at the goals we conceded when you were dominant and on the front foot, we conceded really sloppy goals so we have to be disappointed with ourselves.

"We had two off the post, a big chance in the last minute so it's a difficult taste that we should've won this game. When we're losing 3-1 we showed the team spirit and belief and they refused to lose the game and fought after it. We took some risks from the bench, just played three defenders for the last 20 minutes of the game.

"In the first half they [Sheffield United] didn't have anything and we were in control of the game. We didn't expect the mistakes we made in the three goals we conceded."

On Rodrigo Muniz, Silva said the striker had been a doubt because of an ankle injury and added: "He has been special and it's a special moment for me as a coach. He is working really hard. He is on fire, not just because he scored that amazing goal.

"It's not a surprise for us, he has the capability of doing it in training sessions and we're pleased for him. He has stepped in, shown his quality and is scoring goals. When you're a striker you need goals, even if you're training hard.

"He has been working hard since we signed him and any striker needs goals. He has very good skills to be a top striker in my opinion and it was nice to see him able to handle 100 minutes."

  13. 'Keeper should have done better'published at 18:08 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

    Aston Villa 1-0 Wolves

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

Brilliantly worked goal with an absolutely brilliant finish. It is straight from the training ground, it is a great finish but the goalkeeper should do a lot better. One of the centre halves is possibly in his vision on his line, but he should do a lot better.

Straight from the training ground and perfectly executed.

  14. 'Conceded some poor goals yet again'published at 18:07 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

    FT: Sheffield United 3-3 Fulham

    Sheffield United

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder, speaking to Sky Sports, said: "It had everything. We had to make sure we had a foothold in the game and we had been out of the game at half time in the last four home games so were happy to get off to a good start against a really good team on a good run.

"We were the better team in the period where we scored, we got ourselves in front, conceded some poor goals yet again, which is typical of where we are. To score two goals at Bournemouth and draw and three today and only come away with a draw is a disappointing aspect.

"The goal that was disallowed, that would've taken us to 4-1 and that was a crucial moment. If we had got that goal we would've gone on to win but we conceded straight away and all the momentum went Fulham's way.

"The ammunition Marco [Silva] has at his disposal, they are players that can impact the game but because of the injuries and the strength of the squads we weren't able to do that.

"When you go to 3-3 and you have to suffer the disappointment of being pegged back and everyone thought there was going to be only one winner so credit to our players for hanging in there."

GOAL - Aston Villa 1-0 Wolvespublished at 18:06 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

    Moussa Diaby (36 mins)

Douglas Luiz curls the free-kick over to the left. It's fizzed back across the box, takes a deflection off a defender and pops out to Moussa Diaby.

He sets himself and smashes it into the right corner, beating Max Kilman, who had gone to cover his goalkeeper on the goalline.

A lovely finish but a blow to Wolves, who had started really well at Villa Park.

    Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves

    Paul Robinson

Rogers looks so strong going forward, his first thought is to look up, make the space and then get forward. He's been really effective.

Douglas Luiz squeezes past a few players and is clattered into by Santiago Bueno. He earns a free-kick for it inside Wolves' half.

  19. 'Villa applying more and more pressure'published at 18:03 Greenwich Mean Time 30 March

    Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

The possession stats are very even, but you get the feeling that Villa are just starting to dominate the game now. Villa with Bailey and Rogers are just pushing the full backs back, which really suits Villa.

  20. CLOSE!published at 33 mins

    Aston Villa 0-0 Wolves

Leon Bailey wins a corner off Rayan Aït-Nouri. A good little battle down that side.

It's taken short to Douglas Luiz before Bailey's cross is headed away.

Villa keep it alive though and Pau Torres' header is testing for Jose Sa, who needed to react to gather it in.
