    Aston Villa 2-0 Wolves

    Paul Robinson
Former Tottenham and England goalkeeper on BBC Radio 5 Live

It's got the feeling of a game that's over from an Aston Villa point of view. The atmosphere, the crowd are delighted, their side have played well in parts and that second goal gave them breathing room.

It is going to have to be something special from Wolves to turn things around at such a late stage.

Villa went in 1-0 up before half time but they always needed that second goal.

It looked like Wolves had a little bit of belief, it looked to be going their way.

That second goal has been huge for Villa, changed the game in their favour and made it a real uphill battle for Wolves here.

  17. Postpublished at 75 mins

    Aston Villa 2-0 Wolves

Jhon Duran carves space out for a shot on the left but it takes a slight touch off Max Kilman before going wide.

There's some technical issues with the officials though, meaning there's a short break in play.

  18. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Aston Villa 2-0 Wolves

The game is really slowing down. You can tell these squads have had lots of players on international duty, compounded by existing injuries.

It's scrappy and lacking intensity. Villa probably won't mind that.
