Anyone who thought Liverpool equalising would see the home side go on to have a more comfortable afternoon have already been proved wrong.

And it is clear where the danger is coming from is: Simon Adingra.

Brighton are using the Ivorian's pace and trickery to make in-roads down the left, although Conor Bradley is more than holding his own in another mature performance from the talented Liverpool youngster.

Brighton have looked really dangerous on the counter attack. Liverpool just had a sustained period and Brighton have to work so hard.

Wataru Endo does well to pinch the ball from a hesitant Brighton defence and gets into the box, but his square ball is behind his team-mates.

There's no respite for the Brighton defence as now Mohamed Salah chases a ball over the top but Bart Verbruggen is off his line quickly to get to it first.

Liverpool break from a Brighton corner through Luis Diaz but Simon Adingra recovers superbly to get a foot in and rescue the situation for the visitors.

Adingra is having the game of his life here. He's been excellent.

Some of the shots from Liverpool have just been too easy for the goalkeeper, they've lacked power.

More great stuff from Conor Bradley as he pinches the ball from Simon Adingra and once again charges towards the box. He tries to slip in Darwin Nunez but the Brighton defence gets an important boot in.

Fantastic stuff from Conor Bradley as he wins the ball high up and then races into the box. He forces his way through a couple of Brighton players before teeing up Luis Diaz, but his shot is tame.
