What a strike. Absolute deserved. When you let the wide man run half the length of the pitch unchallenged you deserve to concede.

There was panic on Estupinan's face, but I don't think that's enough for a penalty.

What a start for Brighton. Conor Bradley was up the field and out of position.

It's a brilliant strike and the goalkeeper has no chance.

Must win today, then 8 games in April, last 4 away. Including Fulham, with previous this season, Everton in dire need of points and West Ham also ko'd from a cup and with the chance of meeting again in Dublin. My teams destiny is more likely to be decided by these than what happens at the Etihad today. I think Arsenal/City are quite likely to meet again in the CL also. So exciting with so much still to play for, for a lot of teams.

Alexis Mac Allister stood out like a sore thumb at Brighton as a top, top player and it's no surprise he moved to a club like Liverpool. He progresses the ball really well up the pitch.

  19. 'He is a wonderful player and a World Cup winner'published at 13:54 British Summer Time 31 March

    Liverpool v Brighton (14:00 BST)

    Julien Laurens
French football expert on BBC Radio 5 Live

For Alexis Mac Allister to play most of the part of the season as a six, he did a good job but Endo has that position and it pushes Mac Allister higher. He brings quality, vision, the first touch. He is a wonderful player and a World Cup winner.

Interesting to hear the chat earlier about 'luck' playing a part in the title outcome. I'd say poor officiating will undoubtedly play a bigger part come the final reckoning.
