Man City 0-0 Arsenal
That was a big warning for City's defence. Gabriel Jesus was unable to punish his former club. He'll be disappointed he did not get that on target.

Man City 0-0 Arsenal
First shot in anger - and it comes from Arsenal!
From their first serious attack the ball lands at the feet of Gabriel Jesus about 10 yards out but he cannot get it on target.
Just wide.
Man City 0-0 Arsenal
City have enjoyed 60% of the possession in the opening six minutes but David Raya is yet to be tested.
Man City 0-0 Arsenal
Arsenal are camped inside their own half during these opening exchanges but Arsenal are well organised at the back with William Saliba and Gabriel marshalling the defence.

There's an extra energy inside the Etihad and Manchester City make a fast start.

With Kyle Walker and John Stones not playing, the big question was always going to be how City's defence would line up. It's actually Manuel Akanji at right back.

Pep Guardiola is one of the last to emerge. He heads straight to Mikel Arteta and the two greet one another like old friends who haven't seen one another for a long time.

FT: Liverpool 2-1 Brighton
Liverpool
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp, speaking to BBC MOTD: "I would have loved to not be 1-0 down, I would love to have been four or five nil up but that's the best we played against De Zerbi's Brighton.
"Playing wise it was really good, defending wise, yes always a struggle but there's been games against Brighton we were never close but this time we were calm. That is the first of the last 10, let's keep going."
On move for the winner: "That is an unbelievable ball [from Dominik Szoboszlai]. It is the creativity and the quality, seeing that. He sees Macca, his first touch is incredible and then he sees Mo. How wasteful we were at all the other moments it was good we had this genius football moment to finish the game off.
"Brighton have incredible quality. That is the measure I have for how good we were today because I really respect them. They had chances, they took more risks all of a sudden and we got slightly tired.
"We deserved to win the game. That is what you want and then on top of that it is really cool."
Will you watch Manchester City v Arsenal? "We have a booth room and I will watch a bit of it because the traffic is now heavy to get out of the stadium.
"We just have to win our games and see where we end up."

The teams are in the tunnel. The Premier League trophy was put on display on the pitch earlier. Who will be motivated by that the most - City or Arsenal?
We're about to find out.

The Etihad sounds extra loud today. Extra vibrant, full of energy and noise. It's a sea of sky blue and white with a small pocket of red and white in one corner where 3,065 travelling Arsenal fans are in full voice. And why not? The Gunners have the best away record in the Premier League having won nine of their 14 matches on the road.

This is being dubbed by many as a title decider, but given there is lots of football still to be played, I am not sure I would go that far.
There is the added complication of huge European fixtures sandwiched in between Premier League games and the uncertainty that international breaks bring.
For both sides, this is however, a must not lose.
Arsenal’s miserable record at Etihad Stadium will naturally play on the supporters’ minds. But given their recent form and the progress they have made again this season, there is no reason they cannot head back to London with all three points.
Man City v Arsenal (16:30 BST)
Some journey for David Raya who has come a long way since playing for non-league Southport in 2014. The 28-year-old has nine clean sheets this season - more than any other keeper on the Premier League stage.

Premier League winner with Arsenal
Arsenal have grown up from last season. They have learned a lot both individually and collectively. This is the perfect time to play against Manchester City after the international break just because they [City] have so many doubts about players surrounding injuries. I have a feeling they are not the same team as last season.

Arsenal at full strength, A few City injuries, so bodes well for a great game. Arsenal have no excuses today and a perfect chance to come away with the three points.

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta, speaking to Sky Sports: "You want to be in this situation and now you need to step up. This is who we are. It's another game. We know the opponent we are facing. The best way to do it is to believe you can do it. We have to show that on pitch [that we are better than the team that came to the Etihad last season and lost 4-1]. "
Asked about whether Gabriel Jesus will play on the left against his old club, Arteta added: "We will see."

It's not that long ago that the Etihad floodlights would be shining brightly on a matchday at this time. Not today. British Summer Time has arrived and it's a pleasant spring afternoon in Manchester weather wise. Inside the ground it's pretty rowdy with around 10 minutes to kick-off.

No disrespect to West Ham, but Declan Rice has taken a step up and he's playing with better players. That always makes you go up a level.

Honestly think an Arsenal win is the best result for Liverpool today. Arteta's team will drop points in the run in, Pep's might not.
