  1. Can Blackburn fight back?published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-1 Newcastle

    Michael Emons
    BBC Sport at Ewood Park

It had been coming for Newcastle.

Anthony Gordon gets the goal only two minutes after he had raced through, only to be denied by home keeper Aynsley Pears before Sean Longstaff headed over from the resulting corner.

"Oh Anthony Gordon", is the chant from the jubilant Newcastle fans behind the goal Gordon has just scored into.

That could be a massive goal for Newcastle and a massive goal for Eddie Howe.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-1 Newcastle

The home side respond to going behind with a change as on loan Liverpool defender Billy Koumetio replaces Kyle McFadzean.

  3. 'Unfair on Blackburn'published at 21:31 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-1 Newcastle

    Stephen Warnock
Former England and Liverpool defender on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is very, very unfair on Blackburn.

Lovely play from Newcastle. Almiron has had an impact straight away and credit to Eddie Howe, his substitutions have had an impact.

  4. 'Lovely play from Almiron'published at 21:30 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-1 Newcastle

    Danny Murphy
Former Blackburn Rovers midfielder on BBC One

Good movement from Gordon but lovely pay from Almiron. That bit of quality in the final third and that steadiness.

When he gets into the area he keeps calm and finds the pass.

    Huge goal for Newcastle.

    Luton 2-5 Man City

Erling Haaland has had seven attempts - all on target - and scored from five of them.

Where does he put all these hat-trick match balls? He must be running out of space.

GOAL - Blackburn 0-1 Newcastlepublished at 21:28 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Anthony Gordon (71 mins)

    He doesn't miss this time!

Great impact from substitute Miguel Almiron as he makes a good run to meet a ball down the right, then cuts the ball back to Anthony Gordon, who finishes first time.

Newcastle have been far from at their best but that was a move of quality.

If ever there was a game that looks destined for penalties it is this one.

Both sides have clearly left their shooting boots at home.

  9. 'You have to score'published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

    Danny Murphy
Former Blackburn Rovers midfielder on BBC One

It was the right decision to shoot but you have to score.

He's better than that, Anthony Gordon.

  10. CLOSE!published at 21:27 Greenwich Mean Time 27 February

    Blackburn 0-0 Newcastle

Anthony Gordon is in! He races clear, has some support but decides to go for it alone, but his shot is too close to Aynsley Pears. Gordon had to do better there.

    This is great fun.

Ross Barkley is denied by Stefan Ortega's finger-tip save before Tahith Chong goes close from the resulting corner.

Luton are not throwing in the towel.

City V Luton raises an interesting question, what's the highest scoring game with the least number of goalscorers?

Kevin de Bruyne goes close to making it six. He deserves a goal for his efforts. Still another 25 minutes to go at Kenilworth Road.

It doesn't matter who you support. Erling Haaland and Manchester City are a joy to watch when they turn it on like this.

    They're an incredible team.

Is Haaland paying De Bruyne for these assists. Has anyone other player ever scored 4 goals with assists from the same player ?

    Luton 2-5 Man City

    Erling Haaland is a machine.

It's the second time he has scored five in one game for Manchester City.

He did it in the Champions League against RB Leipzig last season.

As good as Haaland and he is top class, Luton's defending is woeful. They leave 1 on 1 at the back so often and can't play offside to save their cup or even league survival!
