    There is a fantastic atmosphere at Villa Park. The Ajax fans, armed with dozens of flags, have been in good voice for the last hour in the corner of the Doug Ellis Stand.

    We've also just had a brilliant interactive lightshow, with fans using the lights from their mobile phones to play along and then a rousing version of 'Hi, Ho, Aston Villa’.

    There's also been some pre-match pitchside flame-thrower action to warm everyone up, plus fireworks and even the rain from earlier on has decided to stop.

    It's a huge night for Aston Villa at Villa Park. Villa's time to shine.
