    A massive roar from the home fans as top scorer Ollie Watkins is able to continue after needing lengthy treatment having clattered into away goalkeeper Diant Ramaj.

    Watkins, named in Gareth Southgate's England squad for the friendlies against Brazil and Belgium, now has a lot of strapping on his left leg and Villa desperately need their main man to play, not just tonight but for the rest of the season as they chase down a top-four spot in the Premier League.

    As soon as he got to his feet, he got shown a yellow card for the late lunge on Ramaj.

    Indeed Jaime. I think the whole country must be thinking the same. I've said it before, Henderson should have the good grace to hang up his international boots. He's even looking to the next world cup. Good grief.

    Re Jamie at 20.07. Just a hunch but maybe because Jordan Henderson is a massively talented and experienced player who has captained a side to the Premier League title, the Champions League, The World Club Championship, The FA Cup and the EFL.

    England midfielder Jordan Henderson is the pantomime villain of the piece tonight it seems.

    The Ajax captain is getting booed every time he touches the ball, with the Holte End already singing about how 'greedy' he is, in relation to his spell in Saudi Arabia, which ended in January when he moved to Ajax.

    The Villa fans also know they need Henderson, named in Gareth Southgate's England squad earlier today, to have an off night if they are to advance.
