  1. 'Rangers grinding through the gears'published at 15:33 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox

Chances are flowing now for Rangers but Motherwell are standing firm so far. Their game plan is largely working although the home side are finding spaces, ones that Stuart Kettlewell will be desperate to shut down.

They will aim for half-time and hit on the counter if possible given the platform they have in the game.

  2. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

Ross McCausland - twice - and Cyriel Dessers both have shots blocked in front of goal by some brave and desperate Motherwell defending.

  3. Postpublished at 15:31 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

Kilmarnock's first chance of the game as Marley Watkins is slipped through on the left of the box. His shot is poor though, and Jon McCracken gathers comfortably.

  4. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:30 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Hibs have been guilty of giving the ball away a few times, and on this ocassion Victor Loturi pinches it and drives to the edge of the box.

The midfielder smashes a shot on target, but David Marshall makes a strong stop.

  5. GOOD SAVE!published at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

Rangers are starting to find the target.

Ridvan Yilmaz fires a low drive that goalkeeper Liam Kelly does well to turn wide.

Then Mohamed Diomande tries a little back heel in mid air, but his clever attempt is straight at Kelly this time.

  6. 'Dundee deserve to be ahead'published at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnock

    Tyrone Smith
BBC Sport Scotland at Dens Park

Dundee's goal may have had a touch of fortune about it, but few would argue they don't deserve to have the lead.

They have been playing with a real intent and swagger so far.

  7. Postpublished at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

Duk, from a tight angle, forces St Mirren keeper Zach Hemming down low to his right.

  8. GOOD SAVE!published at 15:24 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

Mohamed Diomande has already shown his prowess from long range since arriving on loan from Nordsjælland.

The Rangers midfielder has one thought on his mind as he gathers 25 yards out, but goalkeeper Liam Kelly is well positioned to push the powerful drive wide.

  9. 'Nothing for healthy crowd to shout about'published at 15:23 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    St Johnstone 0-0 Livingston

    Amy Canavan
    BBC Scotland at McDiarmid Park

That win against Aberdeen has clearly done wonders. What a cracking turn out there is at McDiarmid.

They've not seen much football, mind. Not a shot on goal yet.

  10. Postpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

Rangers have been struggling to create against a well-organised Well defence, but they at last find a bit of space inside the visiting penalty box.

Ridvan Yilmaz delivers a fine outswinging cross from left-back and it finds Cyriel Dessers unmarked only for the striker to head down and well wide from 12 yards.

  11. GREAT SAVE!published at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

That's the first chance of the game, and it was a big one for Hibs.

Nathan Moriah-Welsh plays it to Myazine Maolida, whose first-time shot is saved by George Wickens.

It falls to Emiliano Marcondes, who takes the ball half around Wickens, but his shot is then blocked by the leg of the County keeper.

  12. HITS THE WOODWORKpublished at 15:19 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

A hopeful deep free-kick into the Aberdeen box causes all sorts of problems as Scott Tanser's header is tipped on to the post by Kelle Roos.

  14. 'Brilliant start for Steelmen'published at 15:16 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

    Martin Dowden
    BBC Sport Scotland at Ibrox

What a start from the visitors and the rejuvenation of Theo Bair continues. A signing that left many scratching heads has proved an absolute steal for Stuart Kettlewell.

Motherwell have been excellent. They wanted to halt a blistering start from the home side and did that by getting up the pitch early.

Unusually ponderous from Rangers under Clement early on in this one.

  15. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    St Mirren 0-1 Aberdeen

That Connor Barron wonder goal has winded St Mirren, who haven't got going.

There's no doubt it's calmed the nerves in the Aberdeen side.

  16. Postpublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Hibernian 0-0 Ross County

Ross County have got hold of the ball in the last few minutes at Easter Road after a solid start by the home side.

There have been no chances for either side, though.

  17. Postpublished at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    St Johnstone 0-0 Livingston

Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's been a scrappy start between the relegation rivals in Perth.

Livingston have maybe edged it, and one of their attacks has left Sven Sprangler and Liam Gordon with head knocks in their efforts to clear.

Looks like they'll both soldier on.

  18. goal

GOAL Dundee 1-0 Kilmarnockpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Will Dennis OG

An unfortunate one for the Killie keeper...

Scott Tiffoney breaks down the left, before cutting in on his right foot. Liam Polworth slips and allows Tiffoney to get a shot away. The ball cannons off the post before hitting Will Dennis and bouncing in.

Docherty goes 1-0 up on his old gaffer McInnes.

  19. 'Bair just gets his studs on it'published at 15:12 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Rangers 0-1 Motherwell

    Kenny Miller
Former Rangers striker on BBC Sportsound

John Souttar gets the clearance all wrong and then Theo Bair just gets his studs on it. I think the fact he's not caught it cleanly gives Jack Butland no chance.

  20. goal

GOAL Rangers 0-1 Motherwellpublished at 15:09 Greenwich Mean Time 2 March

    Theo Bair

What was Stuart Kettlewell saying about Motherwell playing well against the Old Firm?

Rangers continue their nervy start as John Souttar makes a mess of challenging Jack Vale, who sets up fellow striker Theo Bair to slot in the opener off the far post.

Plenty of time for Rangers to come back for the second game running, but they will have to improve on their early showing to do so.
