    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Gustavo Hamer takes the free kick, he shoots for the near post - well held by Caoimhin Kelleher.

  2. Postpublished at 20:44 British Summer Time 4 April

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Nicolas Jackson is playing with some level of confidence here. He beats two United defenders with a couple of stepovers and feeds Mykhailo Mudryk, whose shot hits the side-netting.

This must be one of Chelsea's best performances this season.

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Ooh, big chance for Sheffield United here. Ibrahima Konate clatters Ben Brereton Diaz on the edge of the box. Free kick in a good position.

Petrovic saves a shotImage source, Getty Images

Chelsea lost the game against United earlier in the season purely down to the keeper. Petrovic has gone completely under the radar as an excellent signing.

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson does a totally unnecessary spin on the left wing. Bit early for showboating?

  6. Postpublished at 20:41 British Summer Time 4 April

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Liverpool corner, to be taken as an outswinger by Dominik Szoboszlai.

Sheffield United clear and counter, but Ben Brereton Diaz has no support and loses the ball.

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Mo Salah hasn't got his radar quite right tonight. He tries yet another effort from the edge of the box, but again it is easy for the keeper.

Liverpool could really do with a second goal to settle the nerves.

  8. Postpublished at 20:40 British Summer Time 4 April

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Big chance for 3-0 but Axel Disasi heads over from six yards out from Conor Gallagher's free-kick.

Good free-kick, poor defending, poor finish.

Cole Palmer beats Diogo Dalot twice and is then fouled by the United defender.

Bruno Fernandes looks deflatedImage source, Getty Images

This is shaping up as Man Utd's worst performance this season and that is saying something! This Utd team can neither attack nor defend. Simply awful.

    Fred

There needs to be a complete reset at United. Losing 2-0 to the worst Chelsea team in decades, no excuses for either the players (majority of which need to be gotten rid of) and the manager, who continously looks more and more out of his depth and not right for the job.

    Steven

Love the optimism from some Chelsea fans, trying to turn a disastrous season into a positive of fighting for 6th based on 'ifs' - not a bad return for a billion quid.

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Erik ten Hag has a serious look on his face as he chews some gum.

Well I presume it's gum, he could be eating a bowl of cornflakes in theory.

  12. Postpublished at 20:38 British Summer Time 4 April

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Potential issue here for Liverpool, as Ryan Gravenberch crumples to the turf.

It looks as though he was accidentally tripped by an opposition player, nothing sinister, and it seems the Dutchman will be fine.

  13. Postpublished at 20:37 British Summer Time 4 April

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Harry Maguire thumps away Cole Palmer's corner.

Palmer is the third Chelsea player to score in six successive Premier League home appearances, after Eidur Gudjohnsen and Didier Drogba.

After Cole Palmer doubles Chelsea's lead, some supporters sing 'Mason, what's the score?' to their former player and academy graduate Mason Mount.

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheff Utd

Joe Gomez has had another shot, the madman.

The Liverpool number two's effort from the edge of the D is dragged well wide.

It is an underlapping run into the box and Antony is lazy in his recovery run.

That is one Cole Palmer will enjoy being an ex-City player, he has a chance to rub salt into United's wounds and he does - Chelsea cruising.

  17. Postpublished at 20:36 British Summer Time 4 April

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

Luckily for United Aaron Wan-Bissaka cuts out Mykhailo Mudryk's backheel.

Cole Palmer runs at the away defence and slams in a shot which is deflected wide.

United on the ropes somewhat here.

    Liverpool 1-0 Sheffield United

We are back under way at Anfield.

    Chelsea 2-0 Man Utd

    Ally McCoist

Antony doesn't go with Marc Cucurella initially and then Cucurella is in behind him.

The pass from Mudryk is brilliant, but Antony has to prevent it.

    Cole Palmer (19 mins)

No Panenka for Cole Palmer today - but the end result is still a goal.

He sends Andre Onana the wrong way and slots his penalty into the bottom right corner.
