It has gone a little bit quiet, but there are going to be games like this for Arsenal between now and the end of the season that are a bit tighter. It's not all going to be plain sailing like some of the games they have had.

Bukayo Saka floats one over the top but no Arsenal player can make a meaningful connection and its eventually hoofed clear by Pau Torres.

Aston Villa have less than 10 minutes plus added time to see this out. If they can do that you have to praise Unai Emery for a brilliant gameplan.

Odegaard has looked a bit leggy, maybe it is just more energy that Mikel Arteta is after on the counter attacks which is why he has come off.

The home supporters are fuming with Nicolo Zaniolo who is on the turf and seems to be struggling with cramp.

He's going to make way for Alex Moreno, anyway.

Mikel Arteta has seen enough and is going to turn to his bench to try and get something from this.

Emile Smith-Rowe is on for Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus makes way for Jorginho.

This time it's pinged out by Gabriel Jesus and Arsenal could get a chance to counter but the chance is snuffed out by Youri Tielemans.

Arsenal have around 15 minutes plus added times to take more than a point.

A second corner for Aston Villa after the first is turned behind by Declan Rice. It's right in that corner where all the Aston Villa fans are stood.

It comes off Takehiro Tomiyasu, another corner...

Gabriel Martinelli gets on a run down the left-hand side and it looks like he has the beating of Ezri Konsa but he gets in front of him and Aston Villa win a free-kick.

It's tense stuff inside the Emirates.

I think the mind-set of all three of these teams is that they cannot afford to drop any points. Even a draw can cost you the league.

The longer this game goes on, the nervier things will surely get for Arsenal.

Couple of Arsenal changes. One in defence, where Ben White is replaced by Takehiro Tomiyasu and Leandro Trossard is replaced by Gabriel Martinelli.

What a strike from Tielemans. Does it hit the bar and the post and then come out? He's so, so unlucky. It's not good enough from Zinchenko, he's weak in the challenge and almost costs his team. Raya is beaten. Tielemans can't believe it, there is a wry smile on his face.

Gabriel Jesus fancies a stab from range himself. He tries to place it from just outside the area but it's a good save from Emiliano Martinez.

Oh my goodness! What an absolute rocket of a strike from Youri Tielemans.

It comes from an Aston Villa corner which Arsenal half clear but it drops for the Belgian around 35-yards out, curling into the corner but it hammers off the bar and then clatters off the post too.

Again, the visitors are wondering how on earth the ball hasn't gone into the back of the net.

That's two off the woodwork.

Arsenal are going to have those moments where they pen you in and Villa have to give up possession. Villa just have to get through those moments and absorb the pressure.

Moussa Diaby makes way for Leon Bailey. It's certainly not a defensive change.

Arsenal win a corner after a period of sustained pressure. Villa have managed to ride the wave but every ball they clear is being pinged back into their own half at the moment.
