Barkley, Rice, Bellingham. What a trio that makes. We need ball playing midfielders then Foden, Kane, Saka in front. Barkley is the sort of exciting choice Southgate should, but won't, make.

    Rod, Hereford

Re Ross Barkley. Let's not get carried away eh? He's a medium cod in a goldfish bowl.

This is much more like it from Bournemouth.

Antoine Semenyo goes ever so close to scoring a second for the Cherries.

It whistles agonisingly over the bar.

    That's a beauty!

Dominic Solanke traps the ball inside the box and spins away from Daiki Hashioka before finishing.

    But was he offside?

No, it's been checked. Bournemouth are back in this.

I'm an Everton fan. That said I have to say Luton are doing extremely well and if they continue as is will stay up I think Gareth Southgate should include Ross Barkley in his squad at least as injury cover for Bellingham and Rice as he is way better than Henderson and Phillips. It probably won't happen though which is sad for him and the England team. And yes before anybody says it I wish he was still at Everton

Rob Edwards has been proud of the way his players have gone toe to toe with teams with much bigger budgets this season without reward. This could be the best night of the season. The Hatters are bossing this.

Not great for Forest. A kick up the bum. Proud of Luton and respect to Tom Lockyer. New father to boot!

Hammers fan here. Luton are a joy to watch. They play football and go toe to toe with the opposition every time. Usually the finishing lets them down. Not tonight. I love the positivity of this team, the effort and the pride they show. This season they have been a credit to the division. I hope they stay up. The prem needs them.

It's been said before, but what must the Cherries fans think when they see what Gary O'Neil is achieving with Wolves?

    Ian

At 18:42 tonight, you asked if Bournemouth are safe. On this evidence, no.

    David, Wolverhampton

I was already dreading Saturday. This isn't helping.

Bournemouth have a two and a bit week break after this because their scheduled match on Saturday is off due to Wolves being in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.

It looks like half this Bournemouth team have started their holiday early.

By the way, Wolves are flying under Gary O'Neil.

The same Gary O'Neil sacked by Bournemouth last summer.
