Whatever the result tonight, this will be emotional for both sets of players, fans and everyone involved. Who would begrudge Luton 3 points? They've just gone one step towards that too.

This has been a terrific opening 15 minutes for Luton.

Not many of their players will have been looking forward to this after the events of three months ago.

But they have been bright, breezy and confident.

If you look at the bottom three you can put a line through Burnley and Sheffield United.

I know Sheffield United got a decent result at the weekend but you look at where they are, they are ten points adrift of safety with games fast running out for them.

For Luton there is something about them. There is the possible points deduction looming over Everton and Nottingham Forest, which then brings them into play. They are in a three way battle with those two teams to see who can avoid going down.

I don't like the phrase 'free hit' but for Luton this season it kind of has been that situation.

They have come into the Premier League, just getting there was a heck of an achievement, but the ride they have been on and the journey they have enjoyed has been incredible.

Everyone who is a neutral wants them to do well. They have fast become everyone's favourite second team.

Treasurer of Luton Town Supporters Trust Les Miller, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "It is going to be an interesting evening. It is difficult to know how people are going to react. [On the evening] we were obviously all very worried. Tom [Lockyer] had collapsed at Wembley a few months earlier as well. Nobody could get a signal in the ground to find out what was going on, people were ringing home to find out what had gone on and to get updates.

On the gesture from Bournemouth fans to raise over £2,000 to put on coaches for Luton fans to make the 240-mile round-trip: "It is a fantastic gesture. There was enough money for four coaches, we have filled three, and the rest of the money is actually going to be donated to the British Heart Foundation."

    Luton Town

Luton Town captain Tom Lockyer, speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live: "I am quite numb to the whole thing but being back here, I came into the tunnel area and saw the paramedics that saved my life. I recognised them straight away. What do you say in that situation other than thank you? They are heroes and they saved my life. I got a little bit emotional. I am sure there are going to be many more throughout the evening.

On the planned applause in the 59th minute: "I hope that is for the paramedics and not myself. It is going to be emotional. When it happened it was important for people to see me doing well. A lot of that crowd that were there that day are here tonight so for them to see me walking around and doing well is important.

On the work Bournemouth are doing: "It is just incredible. Like I said, I am best mates with David Brooks so I know what a wonderful club Bournemouth is. It is truly incredible what this set of fans are doing.

On the mood in the Luton camp: "I will be honest, I haven't been in. We are never too up, never too down. We try and maintain that level. I think we will be alright."
