In more encouraging news, I'm being told trackside that Martin Boyle is conscious.

The problem seems to be the way John Souttar landed on him as they fell.

Nick Montgomery is not a happy bunny at all. Not necessarily because his side is a goal down, although that won't amuse him particularly.

It's more the fact that he, and the entire Hibs bench, feel Martin Boyle was fouled at the start of the move that led to the Rangers penalty.

The incident happened right in front of me, and it looked to me like Boyle was indeed impeded by Diomande.

Even with the penalty saved, Hibs still find themselves behind, so the home side aren't having the rub of the green as it stands.
