They only need to avoid defeat at home to strugglers Boreham Wood today and are winning 1-0 at the halfway point thanks to skipper Jamie Grimes' 28th-minute goal.

Paul Cook's Spireites could seal a return to League Two, having dropped out of it in 2018, in about an hour's time if they hold on.

• Wrexham are 3-0 up at Grimsby and set to go into second, three points behind leaders Mansfield.
• Barrow lead Newport 1-0 as they look to strengthen their play-off place
• Play-off rivals Crewe and AFC Wimbledon are locked at 1-1
• Fast-starting Crawley have leapfrogged into the final play-off spot at half-time thanks to a 2-1 lead at Tranmere
• Bottom side Sutton have a precious 1-0 lead at home to Accrington and as it stands will move within a point of safety
• Doncaster have had the better of a goalless first half against Forest Green who know a fifth win in nine matches will move them out of the drop zone.
• Morecambe have been pegged back to 1-1 at home to Gillingham as both sides hunt a play-off berth

• And lowly Salford are 1-0 up on Notts County at Meadow Lane

• Second-placed Derby trail Northampton 1-0 at Sixfields. The Cobblers have never beaten Derby in 13 meetings in all competitions.
• Bottom side Carlisle who have lost 12 of their last 13 league games lead Stevenage 1-0.
• And it remains 0-0 in the game between Burton and second from bottom Port Vale.

They (Vale) just cannot score goals, are so low on confidence and are desperate for someone up top who can score goals.

Northampton lead Derby 1-0 thanks to Sam Hoskins' goal.

John-Kymani Gordon swept the visitors ahead after just four minutes but the hosts levelled through Rio Adebisi's blast on 13 minutes.

Since then it's been the hosts who have had the best of it but it's pretty cagey, plenty at stake for both sides with play-off and automatic promotion implications for the winner.

Andy Cannon is the slightly unlikely Wrexham hero with a first-half double and Paul Mullin added a superb third just before the break and the Red Dragons are certainly in flames.

As it stands they are just three points off the top of the table and if they can replicate this performance on their travels in their remaining games, few would bet against them playing in League One next season.

Daniel Butterworth's goal for bottom of the table Carlisle has them in front at the break against Stevenage.

No goals at the Pirelli Stadium as both sides struggle to make a breakthrough.

Cole Stockton's venomous low strike from an angle has put Barrow ahead at the break in a game which they have bossed, but which has been severely hampered by the blustery conditions in Cumbria.

The Bluebirds remain sixth in the live table but are only four points adrift of the automatic promotion places, as it stands.

Salford could do with a win to ease their fears of the drop and have the lead at Notts County.

With Ryan Giggs watching on, Conor McAleny drives at goal and drills a lovely low finish into the bottom corner.

Notts won the reverse fixture back in September - a result which sent them top. They now sit 14th.

Derby have responded well since going a goal down as Ebou Adams has had a couple of decent chances.

First he has an effort that is cleared off the line by Sam Sherring.

They go forward again as Kane Wilson finds Adams with a cross but his heads it into the ground and it bounces over the crossbar.
