  1. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 0-2 Wrexhampublished at 15:39 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Andy Cannon (36 mins)

... and there is the second. Two for Wrexham and two for Andy Cannon. This is a devastating counter attack goal.

The Red Dragons turn into the Red Arrows and launch forward from their own half, Paul Mullin jinked some space and found Tom O'Connor who then played Cannon in down the right of the box to rifle an angled strike into the roof of the net.

Cannon had scored three in 52 appearances before today.. he now has another two in 31 minutes.

  2. CLOSE!published at 15:38 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Grimsby 0-1 Wrexham

Tom O'Connor goes close to a second for the visitors with a rising shot from distance which flashes narrowly wide of Harvey Cartwright's upright.

Wrexham looking to pick up a rare win at something of a bogey ground for them this afternoon.

  3. Postpublished at 15:36 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Carlisle 1-0 Stevenage

Carlisle still with the lead but Stevenage are piling on some pressure with a succession of corners before Jordan Roberts' effort goes just over the bar.

Tranmere are back in the game against Crawley as Luke Norris sweeps home from close range to halve the deficit.

The forward's fifth of the season came just moments after the visitors had a third goal chalked off.

Only two games in L2 remain goalless as second-bottom Forest Green are being held at Doncaster, knowing a win would lift them out of the relegation places.

And nothing doing goal-wise for Notts County and Salford.

  5. 'Derby need to respond'published at 15:29 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Northampton 1-0 Derby

    Ed Dawes
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

Derby need to respond, and quickly.

They have had three good chances, but Northampton it is who have scored, from a really good finish from a wide area.

Good tempo to the game now.

  6. goal

GOAL: Northampton 1-0 Derbypublished at 15:27 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Sam Hoskins (23 mins)

    Northampton take the lead!

Louis Appere with the cross and it's Sam Hoskins with a lovely volleyed finish.

Work to do for Derby if they want to keep the pressure at the top of the table.

  7. Postpublished at 15:26 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Another chance for Port Vale as Ryan Loft's shot goes just wide of the post.

Just before that, Burton's Mason Bennett also had a decent chance but his sliced effort also went wide.

  8. 'Goalkeeper should do better'published at 15:25 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Barrow 1-0 Newport

    Jason Walker
Former Barrow AFC forward on BBC Radio Cumbria

That's Cole Stockton's fifth of the season, in 11 appearances since joining on loan from Burton.

It was not too difficult for the goalkeeper to save though, he should be doing a little better there.

  9. League Two latestpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

Bottom side Sutton haven't won at home since October but have the lead against Accrington.

Harry Smith with a super low finish into the far corner.

Ollie Hawkins has levelled for Gillingham at Morecambe in the battle of two sides in the play-off places,

And the referee has spared Tranmere more damage as he chalks off Danilo Orsi's effort. But Crawley remain 2-0 up and in control.

  10. Postpublished at 15:22 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Northampton 0-0 Derby

    Quiet so far at Sixfields.

Northampton have worked the ball into the Derby box a couple of times but the Rams have managed to clear things.

Mitchell Pinnock has just picked up the first booking of the game for the Cobblers for a foul on Martyn Waghorn.

  11. goal

GOAL: Barrow 1-0 Newportpublished at 15:21 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Cole Stockton (20 mins)

Goal Stockton! The Bluebirds have bossed this in the testing conditions and they have a goal to show for it, Dom Telford flicks the ball out to Cole Stockton on the right of the area and Barrow man lashes a half volley through the legs of County keeper Nick Townsend and into the net from an angle.

They are sticking around in this promotion race, make no mistake. If they can keep a fourth straight home clean sheet they will win this one.

  12. Postpublished at 15:20 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Crewe 1-1 AFC Wimbledon

    Peter Morse
Sports Journalist on BBC Radio Stoke

Crewe have now settled down and are playing some football.

  13. goal

GOAL: Crewe 1-1 AFC Wimbledonpublished at 15:17 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Rio Adebisi (13 mins)

Didn't last long... what a strike this is from Rio Adebisi who collects a short free-kick from the left wing and slashes a swerving left-footed missile into the top corner from the edge of the box to put the Railwaymen back on terms.

They hadn't tested Alex Bass but now the Dons keeper is picking the ball out of the back of the net.

  14. goal

GOAL: Carlisle 1-0 Stevenagepublished at 15:15 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Daniel Butterworth (13 mins)

Big goal for bottom of League One Carlisle.

  15. CLOSE!published at 15:14 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

Almost a breakthrough for Port Vale...

James Wilson drives forward and hits an effort but into the side netting.

    Positive stuff for Vale though.

  16. Postpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Barrow 0-0 Newport

Blustery conditions at Holker Street are making it hard going for these sides.

The first sight of goal comes for Bluebirds striker Ben Whitfield but his goal-bound effort is blocked behind by Newport's Lewis Payne.

  17. League Two latestpublished at 15:13 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

Jay Williams has doubled Crawley's lead at Tranmere inside 10 minutes.

They started the day just a point outside the play-off places and could be forcing their way into the top seven today.

Morecambe also have hopes of making the play-offs and Jordan Slew has stroked them ahead at home to Gillingham with his eighth goal of the season.

  18. FULL-TIMEpublished at 15:08 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Harrogate 3-0 Bradford

The second of today's early League Two games has ended in an emphatic victory for Harrogate.

Josh March gave the hosts a first-half lead, with George Thomson's penalty and a Daniel Oyegoke own goal sealing the points in the second half.

That was a big win for Harrogate who had not won in eight, while Bradford have now lost four in a row.

  19. 'Burton play route one'published at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Burton 0-0 Port Vale

    Phil Bowers
    Journalist, BBC Radio Stoke

It is fair to say that Burton play route one, every time they get the ball at the back they are looking to hit it long into the channels.

One-dimensional football, they are just trying to get it far forward as fast as they can.

  20. goal

GOAL: Grimsby 0-1 Wrexhampublished at 15:07 Greenwich Mean Time 23 March

    Andy Cannon (5 mins)

Wrexham ahead. The ball breaks to Andy Cannon midway in the Mariners half, he drives forward a few years and decides to try his luck, fizzing in a low strike from 25-yards which skids past the dive of Grimsby keeper Harvey Cartwright and into the bottom right corner.

Just like that, Wrexham are within three points of top spot in the live table.
