They were blitzed by a rampant Hibernian, who at last melded their attacking potential to a solid defensive performance and a rare clean sheet.
All three goals arrived in the first 22 minutes, with Jordan Obita, Myziane Maolida and Adam Le Fondre finishing excellent passing moves Livingston simply could not handle.
Hibs climb into the top six, two points clear of Dundee, who host Rangers tomorrow.
