Leicester started really shaky, it was a big occasion, they were sloppy at the back and Tottenham didn't take advantage of that.

Once Leicester got that goal, it settled their nerves and they have control of the game even though Tottenham have had the better chances.

A very entertaining match so far. Fans have got their money's worth. Tottenham will continue to create chances but Leicester look dangerous too. Surely more goals in this?

Leicester lead at the break thanks to that belter of a strike from Jutta Rantala midway through the half.

We head into one minute of stoppage time at the end of this first half.

Sam Tierney goes down in the middle of the box after a collision with Amy James-Turner.

The referee is not moved though and play continues.

Good defending from Leicester. They are not allowing Tottenham players to have time and space on the ball and they are getting frustrated by it.

Good opening for Leicester.

Deanne Rose breaks into the box on the right hand side with a clear view of goal, but she lacks the composure to finish and skews her shot well wide of the net.

A first Leicester player goes into the book.

Josie Green sees yellow for a blatant shirt pull on Bethany England as the Spurs skipper looked to burst downfield.

Tottenham 0-1 Leicester

Ouch.

A brief pause in play as Drew Spence needs a moment to gather herself. The midfielder took the ball flush in the face there, a painful one for sure.

Evaliina Summanen rises highest in the middle to meet the ball but she makes contact on her way back down to the floor and the ball loops well over the bar.

Grace Clinton floats an excellent cross-field ball out to Jess Naz on the run, with acres of space ahead of her.

She is a tad indecisive though and the Leicester defence manage to crowd her out and put the ball behind for a corner.

Just ten minutes shy of the interval now and it has been an entertaining spectacle.

Spurs have a great chance at getting back into it if they can find that composure and finesse with the final ball. They have been a bit rash with those opportunities so far.

Evaliina Summanen floats the ball towards the six yard box, but after some hesitation Lize Kop punches the ball clear ahead of the advancing Bethany England.

Not entirely convincing from the Leicester keeper, but it did the job in the end.

Jess Naz has had a good season for Tottenham despite not getting the goal contribution numbers she deserves.

She creates so many chances and stretches the play for Spurs.

She's also the type of player that when she's on the ball, the home fans know she will always try to take players on.

It's exciting and she epitomises the football Robert Vilahamn is encouraging his team to play.

Another marauding run down the right hand side from Jess Naz.

Again she breezes past Janice Cayman before cutting inside and taking aim at goal. Her left footed effort is well wide in the end.

If was the Leicester manager at half-time, I would tell them to stop diving in. Tottenham are just spinning around them.
