    Siobhan Chamberlain
Ex-England and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC One

It was a brilliant challenge from Erin Cuthbert, such a vital touch to stop a United counter attack when they had three players breaking forward.

She looked to have hit her head on the floor as she fell down, not a good contact. Let's hope she is ok to continue.

    That's a crucial challenge.

Manchester United race forwards but Erin Cuthbert makes an excellent tackle to knock the ball from Lucia Garcia's feet.

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

There's less than 20 minutes of normal time remaining and the momentum is definitely in Chelsea's favour.

Will they be able to level before full-time? Hit the thumb's up if you think they will, or the thumb's down if you think they won't.

    It's tough to call.

The battle at the back post between Rachel Williams and Niamh Charles.

Again you've seen them given and not given. Time and again the referee has been questioned, time and again she says no.

  9. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 69 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Once again, Chelsea think they should have a penalty.

Niamh Charles collides with Rachel Williams and it's a big call for the referee to make, but once again the decision is no penalty.

This is relentless - but there will be a stoppage now.

Guro Reiten shows a bit too much physicality as she tries to meet a Johanna Rytting Kaneryd cross and barges Mary Earps to the ground.

  15. 'Chelsea are banging down the door'published at 15:57 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    Siobhan Chamberlain
Ex-England and Man Utd goalkeeper on BBC One

Chelsea are banging down that door.

This is the sort of defending that you see with five to ten minutes to go. I'm not sure that United can keep this going for another half an hour.

  16. Postpublished at 60 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    It is all Chelsea now.

Erin Cuthbert has a shot blocked, then Lauren James has one saved.

Can United hold out under so much pressure?

  17. PENALTY APPEALpublished at 59 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

There's no VAR in operation but how much of an impact would it have made there?

A Johanna Rytting Kaneryd shot might have hit Katie Zelem's hand but the referee doesn't see any issue.

  18. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

Jess Carter does really well to switch the ball out to Lauren James, but James' first touch is heavy and Lucia Garcia gets the ball back.

Chelsea recover, though, and continue to attack.

  19. Proving a pointpublished at 15:52 British Summer Time 14 April 2024

    Man Utd 2-1 Chelsea

    Michael Emons
BBC Sport at Leigh Sports Village

Mary Earps may have felt she had a point to prove after being left out of England's 2-0 win against the Republic of Ireland in midweek, replaced by Chelsea's Hannah Hampton, and she has done so with an amazing save.

The Lauren James looping header looked destined for the top corner, but Earps somehow clawed the ball out. Earps later reacted by turning around to face her own fans and urge them for more noise, which they are happy to do.

United will definitely need their fans this half and it could be a long 45 minutes for them. Chelsea, as you'd expect, are pushing to get back level.

Already in this second half Mayra Ramirez has made a bustling run into the penalty area from the halfway line and Melanie Leupolz also had a blasted effort blocked.

We've already had one lot of extra time today. Will we get another?
