For the first time in twelve years Bristol City have beaten Leicester City.

Today it was a quality strike from Anis Mehmeti with his left-foot into the top corner.

They needed Max O'Leary to make some quality saves, mostly from Jamie Vardy, but a real feather into the cap for Bristol City today.

Huge result at the top of the Championship!

Leicester City's hopes of lifting some of the gloom by bouncing back with victory at Bristol City came unstuck, and they have now won just one of the last six in the Championship.

Bristol City deserved that, Anis Mehmeti smashing home a terrific winner to earn them the points.

It's well-received in Bristol, but equally so at Leeds, Ipswich and Southampton. It's a significant blow in that race for the automatic spots.

Just wonder if the "intense" mood spoken of by Enzo Maresca has just got to Leicester over the past few weeks.

They do not keep the ball for very long, Bristol City - that is their problem at the moment.

Any hopes Leicester might have had of lightening the mood around the club amid off-field charges and their recent off-key form, have not materialised today.

Bristol City have been excellent, but they don't want to drop too deep.

Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall releases Stephy Mavididi down the left but Max Vyner is across to concede the corner.

It's headed behind by the Foxes, without troubling Max O'Leary.

Bristol City substitute Nakhi Wells is booked after Andrew Kitchen reaches for his pocket for the first time this afternoon.

They're back under way in south-east London.

West Brom have had the possession but it's Neil Harris' Millwall who have posed the bigger goal threat, and have that lead.

The Baggies look safe in the play-offs, while Millwall are going a long way to securing their Championship survival.

Bristol City almost have another, as Mark Sykes stings the side-netting with a rasper.

In the excitement, Leicester brought Kelechi Iheanacho on for Jamie Vardy.
