For the first time in twelve years Bristol City have beaten Leicester City.

Today it was a quality strike from Anis Mehmeti with his left-foot into the top corner.

They needed Max O'Leary to make some quality saves, mostly from Jamie Vardy, but a real feather into the cap for Bristol City today.

Huge result at the top of the Championship!

Leicester City's hopes of lifting some of the gloom by bouncing back with victory at Bristol City came unstuck, and they have now won just one of the last six in the Championship.

Bristol City deserved that, Anis Mehmeti smashing home a terrific winner to earn them the points.

It's well-received in Bristol, but equally so at Leeds, Ipswich and Southampton. It's a significant blow in that race for the automatic spots.

Just wonder if the "intense" mood spoken of by Enzo Maresca has just got to Leicester over the past few weeks.

It's often harder to maintain a flying start than to come up on the rails as their rivals like Leeds have done. Is that pressure to stay up there affecting them?

Leicester and Wout Faes deny Nahki Wells as the home side come forward.

It's looking ominous for the Foxes this afternoon.

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall tries a little ball round the corner into the Bristol City box but it's ineffective.

Bristol City fans roaring their team on here in stoppage time.

Sombre mood in the away end.

    Millwall 1-0 West Brom

Duncan Watmore nearly gets his and Millwall's second of the day.

It is a big chance missed for the hosts, as Watmore sends his shot over the bar.

West Brom will see that as a significant let off.

  7. INJURY TIMEpublished at 90 mins

Bristol City pile downfield and are keeping the ball in the corner to really irritate and frustrate Leicester.

Series of throw-ins, as the Foxes seek to snaffle possession.

Mad day weather-wise. Hail now. All the seasons in one 90-minute spell.

How much added time? Five minutes.

Phillippa Jane: Max O'Leary has to be Bristol City player of the season for the saves he's made this season...

He's not doing his hopes any harm this afternoon, that's for sure...

    Bristol City 1-0 Leicester

Any hopes Leicester might have had of lightening the mood around the club amid off-field charges and their recent off-key form, have not materialised today.

Bristol City have been excellent, but they don't want to drop too deep.

Keirnan Dewsbury-Hall releases Stephy Mavididi down the left but Max Vyner is across to concede the corner.

It's headed behind by the Foxes, without troubling Max O'Leary.

  13. YELLOW CARDpublished at 83 mins

Bristol City substitute Nakhi Wells is booked after Andrew Kitchen reaches for his pocket for the first time this afternoon.

They're back under way in south-east London.

West Brom have had the possession but it's Neil Harris' Millwall who have posed the bigger goal threat, and have that lead.

The Baggies look safe in the play-offs, while Millwall are going a long way to securing their Championship survival.

    Fantastic goal.

That is how sharp you have to be to score a goal, one touch, bang.

    What a strike.

He does it without thinking, he just shifts that ball, then the keeper had no chance.

    Anis Mehmeti

What a stunner in the race for promotion.

Bristol City stick a big dent in the Foxes hopes with a rip-snorter from Anis Mehmeti.

Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen came out to clear a long ball forward with his head but didn't do a great job and Bristol City got it back.

The ball was rolled into Mehmeti in the D on the edge of the box, moved it on to his left foot and then unleashed a shot which left Hermansen pawing at air.

    Glorious.
