On the back of that, Bristol City stomp forward, Matty James picks out Anis Mehmeti, who chops on to the left and hammers it high and wide from the edge of the Leicester box.

Fans disappointed with the finish but pleased with the build-up.

Stephy Mavididi's radar is well off, after Jannik Vestergaard picks him out.

The Leicester attacker looks to play the ball down the line for Jamie Vardy, but the striker puts the brakes on and looks witheringly at his team-mate after a poor pass.

Leicester then get a free-kick just outside the rugby union 22 markings. Good chance to get the big boys up.

Jamie Vardy clips Bristol City goalkeeper Max O'Leary and concedes the free-kick.

He cops a bit of terrace stick too.

Leicester get possession, Wilfried Ndidi releases Abdul Fatawu but Cameron Pring does brilliantly to brush him off and win the ball back.

Superb double save from Mads Hermansen, who twice denies Bristol City with stunning efforts.

Anis Mehmeti rolled a slide-rule into the path of Tommy Conway, who held out Wout Faes and fired across goal.

Hermansen beats away the first effort, and then recovers to turn away Scott Twine's snap-shot on the rebound.

Outstanding.

Bristol City are really loading up on Leicester wideman Stephy Mavididi when they can, but still the Derby-born, London-raised winger causes them problems.

He danced to the byline and squared looking for Jamie Vardy but it was cut out.

Again he came down that flank, but was muscled out. Wanted a free-kick, got nowt.
