  2. Postpublished at 73 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

Lewis Ferguson has been a rare glimmer of light for Scotland.

He does well to get across Paddy McNair and win a decent free kick.

    Substitutions first, though...

    Bold, Neil.

This has been far from good.

I'm not sure this merits the boos. Frustration, yes.

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    My oh my, John McGinn.

His corner swings right out. Right out of play.

    Sums Scotland up.

  6. 'Can NI manage game?'published at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    Stephen Robinson
St Mirren manager on BBC Two NI

This is a huge test for Michael O'Neill's young squad.

So far they have been excellent, but it's now can you manage this game and see it out?

They will get opportunities at the other end, but it's important we don't sit as deep as we have in the last 10/15 minutes.

  9. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

Lewis Ferguson, somehow, slips the offside trap and it's a magnificent run.

Daniel Ballard matches him, though, with a brilliant block to force a corner.

Less said on that, though, the better...

  10. Postpublished at 66 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

Scotland definitely cranking the intensity up, there's a bit of frustration in their play.

    But, NI defence standing strong.

  11. 'Not enough'published at 21:10 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    Neil McCann
Former Scotland winger on BBC Scotland

His hands are on him, but I genuinely don't believe there's enough for John McGinn to go down there.

  12. Postpublished at 64 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

Kieran Tierney is next to loop a ball in.

Brodie Spencer barges into John McGinn and the cries for the penalty come from the crowd.

    There is VAR tonight, btw...

  13. Postpublished at 61 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

John McGinn fizzes another free kick into the mixer, in the direction of Liam Cooper.

The Leeds man is up for it, so too is the Northern Ireland defence, though...

  14. 'Scots bright on flanks'published at 21:05 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    Stephen Robinson
St Mirren manager on BBC Two NI

I think the second half has taken a similar pattern to the first half.

Scotland have started brightly, they have got down the sides of Northern Ireland and Lewis Ferguson has caused us problems with his starting position higher up the pitch.

There's been a few of these...

  16. Postpublished at 57 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

A first change for Northern Ireland.

Josh Magennis is on for Jamie Reid up top.

  17. YELLOW CARDpublished at 55 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

I think Billy Gilmour is a bit disgruntled.

The Brighton man flies into Brodie Spencer, and it's a clear yellow card.

    Venting his frustration...

  18. Postpublished at 51 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

It's just all falling apart at the final hurdle for Scotland.

A cute flick from Lewis Ferguson to Ryan Christie unleashes the Bournemouth man, but his cut-back is then all wrong...

  19. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    That's better, Nathan Patterson.

Lovely little give-and-go with Lyndon Dykes.

The end product is tame, but it's much more like the Everton man.

  20. Northern Ireland 'very disciplined'published at 20:54 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

    Scotland 0-1 Northern Ireland

    Stephen Robinson
St Mirren manager on BBC Two NI

Bailey Peacock-Farrell has had very little to do, there has been a few moments that balls have come into the box but he hasn't had a save to make.

That's credit to Northern Ireland and their shape without the ball, they've been very disciplined.
