    Lewis Ferguson, here's your chance.

Four at the back now for Scotland.

Robertson trudges off, with his head tucked away into his shirt at times. His reaction is really worrying.

Bologna captain Lewis Ferguson is on. I imagine that won't be a straight swap and the Scots will shift to a back four.

It's going from bad to worse for Scotland.

Andy Robertson has his head in his hands, he knows his night is up.

    Conor Bradley

    What a finish!

Ah, on second glance, that takes a wee nick on the way through but needless to say, it's a cracking hit from a special young player.

However, it's a nightmare from Nathan Patterson. He dilly-dallies in clearing at the bye-line, trying to nutmeg Bradley but instead just passes it right to him inside the box and the rest, is history.

A huge sigh of relief across Scotland - and Merseyside - as Andy Robertson gets back to his feet there.

That looked a dodgy one on his ankle. Was beginning to fear the worst.

Oh. Andy Robertson is down holding his ankle and he looks in a bit of agony after Trai Hume connected with him.

Just as I say that, John McGinn buys Scotland a corner with his rear end.

Lovely stuff from Kieran Tierney in the build-up, too.

There is an unbelievable lack of football actually being played.

    Wild.

Billy Gilmour epitomises the quality throughout the Scotland squad, there are five or six Premier League players involved in their starting XI.

It's a level above Northern Ireland, but I think Michael O'Neill will be happy so far.

There's a puzzle for Steve Clarke to solve here.

They haven't really managed to break the game down.

Yet to see anything in an attacking sense from Northern Ireland, but out of possession you can see this is a well-coached side.

Compact from front to back, very little space for Scotland punch passes through when they cross the halfway line.

That ball looked a bit of a lost cause, but Lyndon Dykes nearly turned it into a magical moment.

Bailey Peacock-Farrell, though to his credit, read the QPR man's mind and was on hand to jolt him off balance.

Shea Charles showing his strength there, quite impressively.

Amounts to nothing, mind you, but a strong fella.

Scotland currently sitting at 88% possession.

Northern Ireland certainly happy to let the game develop in front of them at the moment.

Can't lie, though, it's a wee bitty boring just now...

  17. Northern Ireland formation 'difficult to break down'published at 20:00 Greenwich Mean Time 26 March

I think it's important that Northern Ireland don't sit too deep, Scotland have had a lot of control early on.

The shape of Northern Ireland is good, it's going to be difficult to break down, but when we do get those opportunities to go forward and press the ball that we don't become too passive.

Cliche time, but this just doesn't feel like a friendly.

And that's down to the away fans at my left. They're making this feel like a competitive game.

John McGinn fires a tremendous ball to the back-post and it causes all kinds of chaos.

Out for a corner it goes, but nothing develops.

    Sturdy start from the Scots.
