  1. CLOSE!published at 78 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Hakeem Odoffin shows the kind of ambition and accuracy Rotherham urgently need, clubbing in a dipping shot which skids narrowly beyond the far post.

The hosts then bring on Shane Ferguson for Cohen Bramall.

  2. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 76 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Ryan Hardie makes way for Ben Waine for Plymouth.

They're around 15 minutes away from a potentially vital result.

  3. CLOSE!published at 75 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Plymouth go close twice in quick succession: first, an inswinging Adam Randell cross takes a touch off a Rotherham leg at the near post, forcing Viktor Johansson to react rapidly to turn the danger away at his near post.

Adam Forshaw then takes aim from just outside the penalty area with an eye-catching, curling attempt which bends narrowly wide.

That was an absolutely brilliant save by Michael Cooper. Not only did he stop the shot but he pushed the ball away from any Rotherham players and he produced a really strong hand there. That is why he is such a good goalkeeper, he has had nothing to do for 72 minutes and then pulled out a top drawer save.

  5. GREAT SAVE!published at 72 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Michael Cooper has had precious little to do tonight but he makes a fine stop to palm away a diagonal shot through a crowded penalty area by Seb Revan.

The Aston Villa loanee had done well to shrug off Bali Mumba on the right and cut inside. Rotherham need at least two goals to postpone their relegation, but a draw would put Plymouth in peril this weekend.

Neil Dewsnip is just outside of his technical area offering instructons.

Leam Richardson has his arms crossed and is very slightly shaking his head.

Hard to tell whether this is a dismal cross or a misplaced attempt to catch Viktor Johansson unaware from Adam Randell.

The Plymouth midfielder takes on a shot early from far out on the right, firing well wide.

I would like to see Argyle get a second goal to give them that bit of an insurance policy. It would be good to see Mustapha Bundu come on and have a real run at this Rotherham defence.

  9. Postpublished at 67 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Seb Revan sends in a shot from outlandish distance which threatens to clear the stand behind Plymouth's goal.

The visiting fans respond with cheers.

  10. CLOSE!published at 64 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Bali Mumba charges back energetically to stop Hakeem Odoffin from progressing, conceding a corner.

Rotherham win a second corner. Sam Clucas finds Cohen Bramall free at the back post, and his target attempts a first-time shot which is as firm as a puddle of custard, dribbling tamely beyond the near post.

That was a good chance, but the confidence of the finish made it look like it wasn't.

  11. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 61 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Callum Wright's been a decent attacking presence for Plymouth. His race is over, supplanted by Adam Forshaw for the remaining 30 minutes or so.

  12. Postpublished at 59 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Another straightforward save for Viktor Johansson, this time when Jordan Houghton takes aim from a similar position to the one from which Morgan Whittaker tried his luck.

This is sort of end-to-end, but the lack of cutting edge around both boxes means that's not as exciting as the description makes it sound.

Sam Nombe will be hoping for more prolific times in League One next season. He's had the sort of night that's involved lots of polite thumb-raising to team-mates who've waywardly attempted to supply him.

The striker almost reaches a ball inside the Plymouth box, only for an offside flag to go up.

Rotherham manager Leam Richardson, understandably, feels it's time to shuffle his lacklustre pack.

Ollie Rathbone, Andy Rinomhota and Charlie Wyke make way for Cafu, Jamie Lindsay and Tom Eaves.

  15. Postpublished at 54 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

The lively Morgan Whittaker's at it again, collecting a pass from Callum Wright in space just outside the penalty area and setting himself before curling in an accurate shot.

Viktor Johansson reads his intentions, shifts to his right and holds comfortably. Plymouth will be much the happier with how this half is going now.

That was brilliant football all round from Argyle, starting with Callum Wright with his turn, spin and getting the ball in. It was nearly a second goal, from Morgan Whittaker, but it was well saved.

  17. CLOSE!published at 52 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

    Good save!

Morgan Whittaker fizzes in a fierce, low diagonal shot from distance in a central position. Viktor Johansson touches it behind at full stretch.

Rotherham have failed to score in five of their past seven home games. On that evidence, you suspect a second for Plymouth would settle this.

  18. Postpublished at 49 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Sam Clucas directs an outswinging corner onto the head of Hakeem Odoffin, who clears the bar comfortably with his effort.

Still only one attempt on target for Rotherham, who count Odoffin as their joint-top scorer, having bagged a grand total of four times this season.

  19. Postpublished at 48 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Rotherham have had more of the ball during the early stages of the second half, but Sam Nombe is still strugglng for scraps in attack.

Lee Peltier picks out Andy Rinomhota with a perceptive pass, the recipient winning a corner.

  20. Postpublished at 46 mins

    Rotherham 0-1 Plymouth

Rotherham have conceded 42 goals during the second half of games this season, Plymouth 40.

The next-nearest team in that respect in the Championship are Birmingham City, with 39.
